Technical Difficulties (A Splatoon Script)

Part 4 - Friends, Freedom, and Other Things I've Fought For

Coral: Was Cakepop wrong? It doesn't look like anyone's here.

Captain: I'm not sure. It doesn't look like anything strange is going on here, so I don't know what the robot was detecting. (They whisper.)

Emerald: Guys! Over here! (She calls as she opens a hatch that has light coming out of it. A ladder leads down the hatch.)

(They climb down.)

(They walk down a small hall. At the end is a door that has light seeping through it.)

Sound effect: creeeak (Coral cracks open the door.)

Coral: [thought] Whoa... That's a lot of the sanitation stuff... (She looks up at a huge machine containing the sanitation ooze hanging in midair. There's a small room at the top of the machine and an elevator that leads up to it from the bottom. The room's roof is open.)

(They all quickly run over to a spot where they can hide behind a stack of beams.)

Captain: We need to destroy that machine with the ooze. If we don't, nothing will stop Micki and Nicki from sanitizing anyone they want. We can't let them win here.

Coral: Got it. (They get close and whisper.)

Emerald: Hey, I found everyone! With the machine thing! (She spots the other agents.)

Coral: *gasp* [whispered] I see them! They're here! There's Brooke! And Pearl! And- (She perks up as she spots them.)

Coral: What? (She notices Micki with Sanitized V. Micki's won't move from his side.)

Micki: C'mon... love me! V-senpai! Love me! Look at me! Do something! (She pokes at him, but V doesn't move.)

Micki: I know Micki told you to stand guard and that her orders are more important than mine, but c'mon! Loooove meeee! (She starts to get a little frustrated.)

Micki: Come ooonnn... even though I captured you, you're not really mine! Just at least look at me! (She huffs and stands beside him.)

Coral: I don't even want to know. I can see Micki, but I can't find Nicki. That's a little weird. (She kneels back down.)

Rosie: What about Echo? Didya see her?

Coral: No, I didn't. That's a little weird, though. Besides Nicki, I saw everyone EXCEPT her. (Coral scratches her head.)

Coral: And now that I think about it, I haven't seen Echo since the attack at the apartment building. She didn't go after us when we were running away. She was never there, but everyone else was.

Rosie: Do you think she's okay?

Captain: She's Echo! She'll be fine. We'll find her. (They talk, all a bit confused.)

Rosie: And I can still help, right?

Coral: You can! Just please be a bit more quiet!

Micki: Hm? (Micki turns to see them slightly poke out of their hiding spot.)

Micki: Uh oh! (She looks surprised.)

Micki: Nicki, Nicki, Nicki! Come quick! ᕕ(o.O)ᕗ (She runs away frantically.)

Captain: She saw us!

Coral: We've got to get everyone now, while Micki and Nicki aren't here! Rosie, stay with me. And Cap'n, hold on to that vial! I've got the other! Let's go! (They start to get up.)

Sanitized agents:! (They turn at attention.)

(The remaining agents run out of their hiding spot.)

(The sanitized agents and the remaining agents rush at each other, ready to fight.)
