Part 3 - The Truth, Crushes, and Other Things that are Scary

Micki: You- you just hurt Echo! She doesn't use... things like that, and she wasn't expecting it! I bet she doesn't even know what that is! Not even I do!

Nicki: So?

Micki: It's cheating! (⋋▂⋌)

Nicki: Hey, when it comes to battles, cheating is a good strategy! (Micki walks over to Echo.)

Micki: Sorry about that, I had no idea Nicki would do that. Are you okay?

Echo: *huff* *huff* Let go of me.

Micki: Oh, sorry! (Micki helps Echo up, but Echo is uneasy.)

Nicki: Yeah, you might want to let go of her. If I shock her again and you're still touching her, you'll get shocked as well.

Echo: Unh, I can't- I can't- why can't I- (Nicki approaches and Micki lets go of Echo. Echo looks down at her hands.)

Nicki: You can't go in your octopus form? Yeah, another perk of the thing I just put on your neck. As long as it's stuck on your neck, you're stuck like this.

Echo: Rrrgg... (Echo rubs the tracker on her neck. She looks back at Nicki, ready to hit her.)

Echo: Ha! (She whirls around, about to hit Nicki.)

(Nicki's hand grabs onto Echo's wrist as she brings down her fist.)

Nicki: You really don't like cooperating, do you? (Sanitized agents stand behind Nicki. One of them holds a muzzle while another holds a small container of sanitizing ooze.)

Micki: If you're about to sanitize her, lemme know so I can look away. I HATE watching the process! (Micki comes up behind Nicki.)

(Nicki looks closely at Echo. She's nervous.)

Nicki: Mmmm... nah. I don't like that idea. I have another idea with what we're going to do to Echo. She's given us more trouble than necessary, so I think we should treat her the way she treated us. (She has a slight grin. Micki is behind her, a little worried.)

(Echo looks scared.)

Coral: C'mon! Down here! We can get some weapons down here! (Coral heads to the portal to the canyon.)

V: Wait, isn't that the way to Octo Canyon?

Brooke: Don't tell me you're scared of the Octarians!

V: No, no, I'm not. I'm just a little confused. Why would we need to go there for weapons? Aren't there stores for that? (They talk.)

Sound effect: Bap

Pearl: Yeah, sure, but then you have to pay and listen to Sheldon go on and on about weapons, and that's no fun. Come on, don't be scared! (Pearl playfully punches V in the arm. Coral heads down the shaft.)

Coral: Cap'n? Cap'n, are you here? (She calls as she pops up in the canyon with the others.)

Captain: Coral? Brooke? Pearl? Oh, you're okay! I was so worried everyone was taken last night!

Brooke: Yeah, we're fine. Just barely, though. (They walk up. V, Rosie, and Emerald trail behind.)

Captain: Who's this?

Brooke: You mean the tag-along? (They glance back at V.)

V: I'm V. It's nice to meet you, sir. Coral told me about you last night.

Captain: Oh. Well, it's nice to meet you, too. (They shake hands.)

Coral: This is V. He's here to help us. He's got some experience with our problem.
