Part 3 - The Truth, Crushes, and Other Things that are Scary

Meanwhile...

(Micki comes towards Nicki with some of the sanitized agents. Nicki is at a lab, working with computers. A one way-window is in front of her.)

Micki: Hey~a Nicki!

Nicki: What?

Micki: I have some news that you'll like! (Micki approaches happily.)

Micki: We found some of the other agents! Yatta!

Nicki: Oh? Where are they? (Nicki turns around.)

Micki: V and Pearl are at the human library, and I think Brooke is also heading in that direction!

Nicki: Oh. (Nicki looks disappointed as she turns back.)

Micki: So... what are we gonna do about 'em? Something cool? ¯\_(⌐■‿■)_/¯

Nicki: No, we're not going to do anything. (They talk.)

Micki: What? But why?! (ರДರ)

Nicki: Because I know you. (Micki's shocked.)

Nicki: You're probably just trying to get me out of here so we can see V. Chasing around your crush isn't something I want to do, and I have better things to do with my time. (Nicki speaks.)

Micki: But I-

Nicki: I said no, Micki. Leave it at that, and leave me alone. I'm busy. (Nicki rolls her eyes.)

Micki: Fine... [thought] I'm telling the truth, but whatever, baka. If you don't wanna do anything about it, that's fine. (She walks out, a little disappointed.)

(Micki looks back sadly at Nicki. Information about Echo is on the screen.)

Micki: [thought] But I guess she's been so busy with whatever she's doing, she needs some help getting things done! (Micki watches Nicki as she works on the computer.)

Micki: [thought] Maybe I could do this job for her! That would make her happy, and that would make me happy! Yeah, I could catch the last agents for her! (She walks out happily.)

Micki: Hey, soldiers! Follow me! We've got a job to do! (She catches the attention of the sanitized agents as she walks out.)

Pearl: This is quite the homey place you've got set up here.

V: Thanks! (They've returned to the ruined library.)

V: When I found the library, I thought it would be a nice place to stay hidden in, so I set up this little area to live in. (Pearl looks around V's living space in the library. It's surprisingly homey.)

Pearl: Well, for an ancient human library that's kinda creepy looking, you sure made a nice home! (She sits on a dilapidated couch from the library.)

Pearl: Alright, so what are you and Coral doing for your date later?

V: Well, we actually haven't decided. We just know that we're meeting up in the Square later. (They talk as Pearl waits for V to change clothes,)

V: What do you think of this? It's one of the few outfits that I actually own. (He comes out in a slightly casual outfit, but still nice. V has also changed his ink color and now matches Pearl.)

Pearl: Oh yeah, Coral is going to love that! You should wear that!

V: Thanks! (They talk.)

V: Okay, what time is it?
