Chapter 15 : Shower

Third Person's P.O.V :-

"Taehyung?" Jimin gently shook Taehyung's sleeping form to wake him up from his slumber.

"Yeah?" Taehyung grunted out, struggling to open his eyes as he turned his face towards the source of the voice.

"Taehyung, wake up, it's already ten in the morning" Jimin whispered and laughed a little at Taehyung's puffed up face and pouty lips.

Taehyung's eyes snapped open at Jimin's words,"WHAT?!" He sat up in a rush and ran to the mirror to look at himself.

The robe he slept in was wrinkly, his hair was messy and above all his face was swollen.

It'd take him around an hour to make himself look presentable again.

"Oh no" Taehyung whispered out in terror and turned to look at Jimin helplessly,"Mistress is going to be so angry" He voiced out his concern.

"She won't be" Jimin reassured and got down from the bed to walk towards his husband,"I'll go with you, I'll protect you from her" Jimin smiled tucking some of of the messy hair behind Taehyung's hair,"You just go, freshen up quickly" He encouraged.

"O-ok" Taehyung mumbled looking down at little, a blush was becoming visible on his face, even after what they did a few hours ago, Taehyung still felt giddy and nervous around Jimin.

He looked up slightly and Jimin was still smiling down at him with that flirtatious look in his eyes. Maybe Jimin liked seeing Taehyung blush.

"Then excuse me for a bit" Taehyung uttered, barely above a whisper and quickly stepped towards his luggage, trying to avoid eye contact as much as possible. Jimin only chuckled at the behaviour.

Now inside the bathroom, Taehyung took deep breaths and finally looked at the mirror, situated above the sink.

Turning towards it, he slowly pulled at the ends of the knob that tied his robe. The robe soon slipped past his shoulder and he saw it, the hickey.

Red with a hint of purple starting to surround the ends of the bruise.

A dark blush occupied Taehyung's cheeks as he remembered just what had to happen for it to form.

Somehow, now that he had got enough rest and was thinking about it with a fresh mind, the entire situation came across as way more embarrassing than what it felt like was a few hours ago.

Deciding not to dwell on the matter further, Taehyung focused on freshening up.

Knock!

Taehyung was in the middle of his shower when he heard the knock. His head jerked towards the direction of the bathroom door,"Ye-yes?" He asked out nervously, turning off the shower for a bit.

"Um..I forgot my shaving cream in there, can you hand that to me?" Jimin asked from the other side of the door.

Taehyung peeped from the shower stall and spotted the cream standing on the sink.

"Sure" He called out and grabbed the robe, wrapping it around his wet body he stepped towards the door to deliver what was asked of him.

"Here" A wet, dripping hand presented the cream to Jimin as Taehyung's curious eyes peeped out from the ajar door.

Jimin smiled,"Thank you" He took the cream and looked up at Taehyung,"I don't wanna rush you but one of the maids just came and called us for breakfast, so can I ask you to hurry up a bit? I realised I needed to take a shower as well" Jimin said in a lighthearted tone, trying not to make Taehyung panic

Taehyung's eyes widened as soon as he heard that. Growing up in that house he knew just exactly how particular the clan mistress was about everyone being present during the meal times. She prioritised etiquette above everything else.

Jimin saw the look of horror flashing by in Taehyung's eyes and spoke up,"Don't worry, she won't say anything to you, I-I'll protect you!" Jimin said aloud trying to convince Taehyung.

But Taehyung knew better. Nobody could face off against the clan mistress. No matter how strong and independent Jimin got, he could never win against the clan mistress, at least not while they were still in Busan.

Doing a quick estimate in his head, Taehyung knew immediately that being late to the breakfast was unavoidable if Jimin took a shower after him and there was no way the mistress would be pleased with him if he showed up at the table without his husband.

Desperate measures needed to be taken to avoid the worst scenario. Biting his lips, Taehyung slowly took a few steps back and opened the door wide, shocking Jimin.

"Wo-would you like to take one with me?" He asked out, his voice barely above a whisper.

Jimin just stared at the sight that greeted him. Before him stood Taehyung, hair wet and sticking to his forehead as water droplets rolled off him skin and travelled past the barrier of the silk robe, that stuck to his wet frame like a second skin.

"I..." Jimin tried to speak but his throat refused to co-operate, eyes still stuck to the sight before him,"I um.." He tried again only to fail once again.

Taehyung blushed under the unwavering gaze and took a few more steps back,"Come inside" He whispered trying to avoid meeting Jimin's eyes.

Without another word Jimin stepped inside and softly closed the bathroom door after him.

The atmosphere inside the bathroom was tense, Taehyung could still feel Jimin's eyes on himself as he swiftly moved towards the shower and stepped inside of it, standing under it he turned it on and closed his eyes, hoping Jimin would get the hint.

Within a minute, he felt a presence behind him.

Jimin was with him in the shower.

"Taehyung" Jimin whispered from behind him, sending a shiver down his spine as the warm breath tickled his wet nape.

"Ye-yes?" He shuttered out, somehow the entire scenario was very nerve wrecking to him.

Taehyung's breathing quivered as he felt Jimin's hands sneaking around his waist.

"If we're taking a shower, we should take our clothes off"

A/n :- Hey y'all 👀 I know it's been a while since the last update and that is because my exam is coming up 💀 and me being me, I did not study the entire semester so yeaaaah 😀 I'm in trouble haha. This chapter was also partially boring because I'm so tense about the exams, the creativity has logged off 🤡

Anyways, I wanted to say the updates will be suuuuper slow, close to none till my exam ends (17th Feb) after that I'll pick the space back up again!
