Im.. pregnant... I stared blankly at the positive test before me Confused, with mixed emotions I'm.. pregnant I kept repeating to myself I have a little human inside me. I laughed hysterically with tears streaming from my face "I'm gonna be a grandma?? Ina mi young young days woiii" my mother laughed "Mommy ur 57 it's not that deep" I laughed rolling my eyes But then I felt a pit in my stomach and was pulled back to reality Will Alex be as happy as we are.. "Who is the dad.?" Mommy asked "Alex..my boyfriend"I replied "Suh how mi nuh meet him yet i don't understand yuh" "Mommy cool nuh you will meet him today after he gets off work I'll text him and let him know to come over" I told her She smiled in response to this And walked over to the kitchen area "What yuh want to eat jayda?" She asked "I got some chicken in there and some pasta can u make me some chicken Alfredo pleaseee" I begged She rolled her eyes. "Okay jayda." She replied and started to prepare my meal. Meanwhile she did that I grabbed my phone and texted Alex.
"Alex.." "Yes Jayda" he replied 4 mins later "Can you come by my house after work?" I asked "Sure."
My chest ached at the thought of him not being happy about this But I managed to shake it off.
Alex's POV: Time:4 pm While looking over the floor plan for the expansion of the restaurant my mind couldn't stop going to Jayda Is she ok..? That's the only thing I could focus on. Yk wah.. "Assistant send these to the restaurants architect and contractors and let them review it." "But sir- "Do as I say." By time mi lif up frm desso it's 5:30pm I took the toll and arrived by Jayda at 6pm. - - When I knocked at the door Jayda opened it Dressed in a shorts and my white polo shirt I left at her place My wife. I went in for a kiss but she moved her head. Sum nuh right. "Jayda what happened?" I asked her confused. "Just come in alex.." when I made my way inside I saw a lady that looked exactly like jayda sitting on the couch with a stern look on her face Muss har mada "Good evening " I greeted out of respect And she shook her head in approval "This is my mom Jennifer." "Mommy this is Alex my boyfriend." I smiled at her mom and she smiled back "Fine young man yuh have here jayda." Her mom said jokingly "Mommy." She replied rolling her eyes "These are for you" I told jayda handing her the roses and chocolates She smiled in response to this Such a beauty. "But big man medzz jayda wah happen to yuh?" I asked again. She looked away from me. Wtf.. "Jayda mi gone yuh hear." Her mom said walking briskly to the door "Okay mommy be safe." "Jayda mi nah ask again wah happen to yuh?"I asked using my finger to make her face me. "Alex sit down.." a wah dis now. She walked away and went over to the kitchen counter When she returned she had something in her hand " wah dat jayda." I asked "Alex just.." When she handed it to me it was a pregnancy test.. showing POSITIVE. I'm gonna be a dad... I'm gonna be a dad!!! I grabbed jayda and lifted her into the air "I'm gonna be a dad!!" I yelled "Yeaaa" she replied smiling at me "We are gonna be parents..." she laughed. Yea parents.
