Jayda's POV:
I woke up dazed in our hotel room ..when I looked over to my right I saw Alex.
Then the events of last night hit me.
Amazing sex..the best dinner..roses and I'm his girlfriend
The perfect night...
Not long after Alex woke up and touched me on my arm
"Good morning beautiful" he said to me in his morning voice

"Good morning Alex" I replied with a smile
He smiled in response and began to scroll on his phone
Out of Boredom and feeling awkward I reached for my phone
When I did I saw 10 messages from Jordan and 3 messages from Anaya
A Weh dem wah ?
Out of frustration I hissed my teeth and it drew Alex's attention
" a wah wrong wid uh now mad head ?" He asked
"Nothing..I'm okay"I replied with a fake smile
He squinted his eyes and looked at me for a minute
"Okay jayda Mek sure"
I clicked on Jordan's chat and before I could read any of his messages he started calling me
Wtf bro.
I hesitated to answer
But I ended up doing it.
When I answered I was greeted with the most unpleasant awakening
"Aye gyal a dis yuh bail pon man fi do!" He yelled angrily
My eyes opened widely from astonishment
"Weh yuh mean?"I asked knowing exactly why he's mad
"My girl nuh play coy wid mi... wah dat pon uh story and uh tell mi bout uh nuh ina the mood or sum shit dven remember.."

neva wah guh uh coulda just seh dat dwq" he added
I sighed
Because he's right.
"It's not like that calm down"I told him
"My girl nuh badda come tell mi bout calm down and it's not like dat,before mi get cross in ya!"he yelled
At the tone of his voice I jumped.
"Stop nuh dwqqq!" I yelled throwing the phone on the other end of the bed
It landed right infront of Alex
And he saw that I was on the phone
"Jayda who dat?" He questioned
"Jordan."I replied impassively
He tilted his head and knitted his eyebrows
"Why are you on the phone with him?"he asked
"Because...I- uh... We..uh were  supposed to go out but I bailed on him last min it was when we weren't talking Alex don't be mad at me"

He shook his head in disappointment

"Ah"he replied

"Do weh yah fi do mi ago get ready fi cut..and mi sure yavv work today suh handle yuh business" he told me getting of the bed

As he was about to walk off I ran in front of him
"Move jayda please"
"No..I'm sorry but in my defense wi neva did a deal alex"I told him
He hissed his teeth , and lifted me out of the way

I ran over to my phone and hung up on jordan who was still cussing

I waited patiently for Alex to get out of the bathroom
Every minute that went by my stomach turned due to me being anxious

When he opened the bathroom door and saw me his face immediately became tense again
"Alex..I-
"Easy nuh killa mi nuh care." He told me stopping me in my tracks before I could get another word out
Smh..
I plopped down on the bed and stared up into the ceiling
Until I said fuck it and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face
Whilst in the bathroom I heard Alex knock at the door
"Jayda mi just a mek yuh know seh when mi done. Mi ina the parking lot a wait fi yuh fi bring yuh back a yuh place zeen"

"Okay"I replied defeated
5 minutes later I finished what I was doing and met him down stairs
When I got into a car he looked straight ahead of him
He didn't look at me once
Smh.
"Hey" I called but he didn't answer
"Alex..I-
"Bredda just.."he said obviously telling me he doesn't wanna talk to me

The whole car ride to my house I stared blankly at the window getting devoured by my thoughts and guilt

Smh.

When we reached my gate I looked over to him and he looked back for only a second and looked away
If that's the best I'll get I'll take it.
I kissed him on his cheek and got out of the car
He watched me as I entered my house.
