time : 6:30 am

I've never been this distracted before. Especially by a girl but the need to know her more. I don't know its something about her that's so enticing, maybe its her smile or her chocolate skin or her perfect  physique. Just meet dah catty ya and she already a mash up mi head jah know... and what makes it worst is mi neva remember fi collect har number KMT!

my work phone rung breaking my chain of thought, when I looked at the phone I noticed it was my assistant Jenae.so I picked up

"goodmorning sir, just a reminder about your meeting at 8 about the renovation and expansion of paradise&thai"

"yea thanks for the reminder Jenae ill swing by at 7:30 before my meeting with my accountants , have everything ready for me "I replied

As soon as Jenae hangs up I get lost in my thoughts again, mi need fi see dah b deh again  I need to.

LOCATION: Jayda's house

Jayda's POV

time:7:00am

Fuck I'm late.

I rushed into the shower, brushed my teeth ,groomed my hair and found the most professional yet modest outfit I owned grabbed my hand bag and my heels and I was out.

"way how mi did a rush not even some tea mi nuh drink KMT"i said to myself

"I guess ill have to stop at that thai place near my job its just a 5 min drive  anyway."i added.

when I got there I went inside and ordered  iced tea with a zucchini salad to go. after I ordered I sat on one of their high chairs on my phone until I heard a familiar voice say:

"Yavv everything ready fimi Jenae?"

I turned facing his direction scanning his outfit, his amazing body and him pretty face.He was dressed in a turtle neck ,black jeans and  a black wallabee

I walked over to him and tapped him on his shoulder

"hey princess "he said with a smile on his face  as if he was happy to see me

"so we meet again what are the odds"i chuckled

he gave me a light smile

God that smile hmmmm

"Miss your orders ready"the cashier said to me waiting with my food in her hand

"well I got what I came for so I better get going " I said to him giving him a faint smile wanting him to say more.

"wait Jayda lemme get your number " he said handing me his phone

was he asking or demanding...anyways mi nah complain.

I did a little celebration inside as I took his phone and saved my contact

"link mi " I said with a smile walking out of the restaurant.

I could feel his eyes following me as I left

I wonder whats going through his head.

Alex's POV:

time:7:30

"damn".i said under my breath after she left.

what a gyal sexy.

I smiled faintly and continued with business

"So sir I was thinking over here we could expand the seating area and change the colors ,make it pop"

As Jenae shared her ideas my mind went somewhere else. It went to her how could someone I just met make me feel like this..

hmmm I need to get myself together.

"um sir are you listening? "Jenae asked

"ye, just mek it happen " I replied still with a crowded mind.

On my way to my meeting with my accountants , I just couldn't keep my mind off her

Jayda's POV
When I got out of my car walking into the lobby I heard my phone vibrate
When I took my phone out of bag I saw a message
"Hey princess 😘"
I let out a squeal
Everyone looked at me like " da gyal ya man"
But I didn't care
He texted .
I replied "hey Alex🤭,what's up"

And I pulled myself together and walked up to the receptionist

"Hello how may I assist?" She asked

"Hi I'm jayda Williams I'm the new junior associate "

"Oh follow me to your office "

As I walked with her to my office I took in the place
The designs
The color schemes
Perfection.

"This is it, let me know if you need anything else "she said as she walked back to her post
I looked at my office and immediately fell in love
It was so me.
I went into my chair and spun around
And saw the stacks of paper work on my desk
I let out a sigh.

Then my phone vibrated

It was a message from Alex

"What time do you get off work ?"
"At 5 why?"
"Send me your location ,I wanna take you somewhere "
"Sure"

I wonder where he's taking me
Should I have even agreed to it?
I barely know him

Alex's POV
The whole meeting I zoned out
I didn't hear shit they said
But I didn't care
All I could do was watch the time as if it would make 5 pm get here any faster

"Is this okay with you sir ?" My accountant kwame asked
"Just send everything to me I'll look over it later "

Walking to my car I felt my phone ringing

This look serious
My mood changed instantly
