Part 1 - Guys, Get-Togethers, and Other Bad Ideas

Marie: She's right, you know. (Callie leans back and laughs while Marie has her head rested on her arm as she leans on the table.)

Brooke: Well, normal for us. Besides, we haven't had any missions for about four months now! I'm starting to wonder if things have died down with all the missions. (She talks.)

Marie: Nothing's really going to die down until we find Agents 3, 4, and 8. We were too busy to find them when Kiku and Kiyoshi showed up, but we've been trying to locate them for a while now.

Pearl: We just haven't told you that 'cause you've been too busy being superstars. (They speak.)

Brooke: Too busy?

Callie: Not in a bad way, of course. Inkopolis needs you to sort of be a "shining example". A different kind of hero. You two have done great at that! Besides, a lot of us know how stressful it is to try to keep that job up AND be an agent. We didn't want to do that to you two. (Brooke crosses her arms.)

Coral: Awww, well thanks for not getting us stressed! And I kinda like that- being a shining example!

Brooke: [Thought] Of course YOU would. (Brooke looks away, slightly disappointed.)

Coral: Echo? We haven't heard anything from you this whole time. What's got you quiet? (She looks over at Echo, who perks up. Her charm necklace isn't hidden beneath her shirt like it usually is.)

Echo: Oh, it's nothing, heehee! Really! (She blushes and laughs.)

(Everyone stares silently.)

Brooke: Did Echo... just... giggle?

Pearl: Yeah... she did. (Everyone stares at Echo.)

Callie: C'mon, Echo, you gotta tell us what's making you act like this! We all want to know!

Pearl: I think we all know what it is.

Echo: Ooooh... (She blushes more and sinks her head in her shoulders.)

Echo: It's official! Juliuz and I are DATING!

Assorted: No way! Awesome! Cool!

Brooke: What? (Echo happily stands up and slaps down on the table. Everyone is happy, but Brooke is a bit hesitant.)

Coral: That's amazing, Echo! I'm so happy for you!

Echo: Thank you! (Coral goes behind Echo and gives her a hug.)

Echo: Yeah, Juliuz and I have had a few times to get out as just the two of us, but now we've decided to actually start dating! And he even calls me by my real name!

Marie: Your real name?

Echo: Oh, right, I never told you. My real name is Evelyn. (They're all a bit surprised.)

Callie: Aww... that's so cute! And your real name is so pretty! I can't believe you never told us it before.

Echo: Thanks, but I usually prefer "Echo". Only Juliuz gets to call me "Evelyn"!

Brooke: Hmmmm... (Brooke obviously disapproves.)

Brooke: Okay, hold up. Just to be clear, this is the same Juliuz that used to hate you? The one that refused to call you anything more than "Octarian"? The one that had acted mean to you during our entire first mission? (She speaks.)

Echo: Technically, he wasn't mean ALL the time. You never saw him defend me in our fight with Doctor Nariko! But yeah, it's the same Juliuz! He really likes me now! (She's still happy.)

Callie: Juliuz did seem to change after the first mission- in a good way. He's a lot nicer, happier, and more fun to hang around now!

Marina: Don't forget that he's kinda cute!
