Chapter 65: Sleep Over

Normal POV

Next morning, Ashley went home with a bright smile on her face while Lucy is doing the opposite but still tries to put up a fake smile at Ashley. She feels awkward around her. She badly wants to ask what her answer to Natsu is but she is shy to ask Ashley.

They prepare the things that they will need for the sleep over tonight. Sleeping bags, snacks, games, movies and everything else that they will need.

"We are going to sleep in the living room sister~!" Ashley said hugging Lucy

"Yeah that's great." Lucy said

"Hey are you alright?" Ashley asked

"Yeah I'm fine. Don't worry about me." Lucy said

"By the way Lucy...I don't know what happen between you and Natsu but he is coming also tonight, so I think it is the best time if you patch up that problem with him tonight okay?" Ashley said holding Lucy's face

"Ah Ashley..."

"What is it?"

"nothing...let's cook for the dinner." Lucy said. She wants to ask her but she got scared of what she will say

"Oh okay. What do you think Natsu want to eat?" Ashley asked on their way to the kitchen. Lucy stops on her tracks because she was surprise on that question of Ashley

"What's wrong Lucy?" Ashley asked looking back

"Nothing. Are you going to cook for him?" Lucy said

"No! hahahaha! Don't be ridiculous. Why would I cook for him? I asked that to prepare the ingredients that you will need. You are the one that is going to cook for him." Ashley said

Lucy is just standing there looking at Ashley. Ashley walks towards her and shake her hands on Lucy's sight but she is not moving a muscle.

"Oi Lucy! I'm getting worried about you."

"Okay nee-san I can't take it anymore. I don't care what you are going to answer me but I need to know your answer." Lucy said seriously at Ashley's face

"huh?" Ashley said in a questioned face

"Yesterday, Natsu confessed to you right? What did you say? What's your answer? Come one Ashley! I can't sleep last night thinking of this!"  Lucy said like a machine gun at Ashley cornering her to the post of the grand staircase

Ashley doesn't know what she will say to her sister. She can't believe that Lucy knows about that.

"Princess Lucy and Ashley. Natsu-sama is here." Virgo said and they are both startled as Natsu because he also hears the questions of Lucy. Natsu is standing beside Virgo.

Lucy and Ashley looks at Natsu. Lucy's face burn up and became red all of a sudden when she saw Natsu.

Kitchen~

Lucy gets the whole box of donuts form their refrigerator and started to stress eating. There's an awkward atmosphere above the three.

They are seating at the corners of the small table in the kitchen.

"Uh Lucy.." Ashley said trying to start up a conversation.

"What?!" Lucy said with donut on her mouth. She already forgets about manners and decency.

"The thing you saw and heard yesterday was all a misunderstanding." She said and looked at Natsu

"Misunderstanding?" Lucy said

"Yeah. That was just a practice." Ashley said and kicked Natsu's leg

"Practice?"

"Yes, yes, it's a practice confession for a very special girl. I just asked Ashley if that confession will be alright. You don't really think that I like Ashley right? How can I get to like a thug like her." Natsu said and Ashley kicked him really hard and he just yelps in pain.
