Three days later. It's about one hour in daylight. Jessica and Helene are rushing nowhere, sitting in a small café. Although the friends laugh and smile while eating light food and delicious drinks, one thing makes them think about what makes them sad and worried.

"Lewis said that nothing had changed in Peter's condition," Helene says with sadness in her eyes, looking into her glass with a drink or Jessica sitting in front of her and eating what is placed on her plate.

"Hasn't he woken up yet?" Jessica asks, drinking the same drink as her friend.

"Not yet. The indicators of the machines are unstable and always changing."

"But what about the blood transfusion? They put great hopes on it!"

"I already gave off blood, and the doctors transfused it to him," Helene shrugs.

"And how did he accept it?"

"Kind of well, but he didn't get better."

"So, shouldn't we have hoped that you could save Rose?"

"Maybe, not. But Lewis says nothing good to me."

"Gosh..." Jessica shakes her head with horror in her eyes and drinks a little bit from her glass. "And what's gonna happen to him?"

"I dunno, friend..." Helene sighs heavily, mixing what is in a small plastic box of food on the plate with a fork. "Todd promised that the doctors would be doing their best to save him, but he warned that everything might end badly."

"But he's so young! He's always had good health! As long as I remember, Peter was rarely sick during his school years. Why can't his organism take it now?"

"I don't get it, either. But sadly, they can make us happy with nothing. Pete's condition doesn't get better, and the doctors still throw their hands up and give us bad forecasts. They kind of tell us to pray and hope for a miracle..."

"Aren't they still allowing anyone to visit Peter? Yesterday, I barely saw him through the window of the room."

"Yup, nobody is allowed to visit him, but Lewis said that if we wanted, we could just watch him from the hall. Though, two days ago, I managed to visit him and sit with him for a few minutes."

"Really?"

"Yes... I wanted to see him so badly..."

"And he allowed you?"

"He did. That's good the doctor is a good man."

"Well, just something..." Jessica pronounces thoughtfully and eats some food from the plastic box with the same plastic fork. "That's good we're able to see him, at least through the window."

"I think he's gonna allow us to visit him soon. Thank God, Peter isn't in intensive care, but in a regular room."

"Hey, did I say that Daniel, Terrence, and I talked to Lewis after you left with the nurse?"

"Nope. What were you talking about?"

"Lewis wanted to know the reasons why Peter tried to kill himself. In his opinion, Todd has two educations, and one of them is a psychological one."

"Really?" Helene takes a little sip from her glass. "And what did he tell you? Something interesting?"

"Well, nope... But he doesn't like that we believe that Peter did it because of his terrible relationship with his schoolmates. I mean, their mockeries and insults."

"But it might've been the truth! We know that Peter poorly tolerated those mockeries! You said he was doing his best not to take it again and again: from simulating illnesses to categorically refusing to go to school."
