the pack house was full of activity celebrating their alpha finally finding his Luna they had all felt the shift the moment the two beings had marked each other, Kirti's cheeks hurt from all the blushing as people congratulated them, even though the pack consisted of people around her age she found solace in spending time with the kids, she wanted everyone to be apart of the celebration so she had asked her shadows if they could do border patrol just for today which they gladly agreed, they would do anything for her she had been nothing but motherly towards them especially the younglings.

" so how does it feel to be a Luna?"

Kirti chuckled at tyra's question, she was nervous but she was used to taking care of others after all she had been taking care of three unruly boys, make it four with nerita. " is it okay if I sit down?" Kirti smiled nodding her head politely.

" so how are things with you and my son? is he treating you well?"

Kirti blushed he was treating her more than well " yes aunt Raji he is"

" Good I told him I would castrate him if he ever hurt you" using a deadly tone Kirti knew that she was not to be messed with she had become so protective over her, and it made her feel loved, Kirti felt guilty for a lot of things one them being that aunt sees her as someone innocent and pure but her past tainted her making her feel ashamed of herself, she felt sick all of a sudden stomach churning, what would she think if she knew? would she think I am still good enough for her son? will she still hold me in such high regard? will she ask kiraan to break up with her?

" Relax sweetheart, I understand how you felt then, I won't condemn you who am I to judge your past, you have your reasons as to why you did those things. how can I judge you when I am a woman myself? especially when I know what you had been through. my opinion of you will never change sweet heart your past will never define you. you are too much of a pure soul for me to even think so little of you. I am glad my son found you and not one of those snobby girls" she pulled Kirti in for a hug holding on to her as she let out a calming energy easing her tension altogether.

" and it's no more aunt to you, it's mum"

Kirti chuckled as she wiped a stray tear " yes mum" the pair continued to spend time together, many of the members came and went wanting to talk to the new Luna, and Kirti was delighted to do so.

"kitttyyyyy" Kirti smiled at the small body that was running towards her and let out a big huff as he collided with her causing her to fall back.

" kai be careful Kirti could have gotten hurt" his mother chided causing the small boy to get teary-eyed

" I'm sorry" he clung himself around Kirti hiding in the crook of her neck

"it's okay baby, how was school?"

" it was kay but I missed you" he pecked her cheek making Kirti giggle

"I missed you to my bun bun"

" can I sleep over tonight?" giving Kirti his puppy dog eyes, he knew she could never say no to that.

" of course, you can" Kirti knew he had school tomorrow but she did not mind dropping him off.

" are you hungry?"

" yes, I am starving" Kirti excused herself from the group making her way to get something for kai to eat which he eagerly took, and made a run to join the rest of the cubs.

she felt strong arms wrap around her "I'm hungry too but not for food" his voice was raspy causing her to shiver she smacked his arm " behave" chuckling kiraan pressed a kiss in the crook of her neck, he was feeling extra clingy, maybe it was because there were a lot of male wolves around  paying to much attention to his mate.

"I love the pack they so welcoming and they are so kind and loving"

" who wouldn't love you?"

" a lot of people" Kirti dryly chuckled

" they are irrelevant" she turned around in his arms so she could place her head on his chest, " kai is sleeping over tonight"

" he has school tomorrow"

"I'll drop him off"

" you love him more than me"

" that's not true I love you a lot and you know that" Kirti felt her breath stop she had just confessed to kiraan that she loved him in the most unromantic way ever. his chest vibrated making her realize that he was laughing.

"I love you my kitty" Kirti's face was a hot mess.

" you tricked me again" she whined

cupping her cheeks he placed a soft kiss on her lips " it doesn't mean it's not true though, I love you, so so much"
