Kirti placed her phone on the nightstand. today had been mentally and emotionally exhausting yes she did enjoy her day out with the boys but after the episode in the store it brought back all of her insecurities again she wanted to vent but she did not want to be selfish , she saw how excited they were and damn was she happy for them , but right now she needed relief taking in a shaky breath she made her way to her cupboard and took out a red cloth a cloth she never wanted to see again ,unfolded it , the blade sat there mocking her , urging her that this is exactly what she needed that this was the only thing that could help her , she did not want to , but the pain she felt from today was to much all the words thrown at her made her sink deeper back into that bad headspace that she fought so  hard to get out off , the house was quiet kai had been put to sleep and kiraan was with him no one could stop her , guiltily looking at the blade she picked it up and sat by the edge of the bed , shakily picking up her left wrist " just this once i need to feel something so just this once"

" you are nothing"

"what have you accomplished?"

the same thoughts repeating themselves over and over again like a constant chant, clawing at her slowly, was she depressed, or did she make up these emotions and thoughts just so she could feel self-pity? she had no right to feel this way she had everything in life, but she was crying out for help behind the fake persona she had created but no one seems to notice, "I am sorry I need to do this I need to feel pain, I deserve this I am sorry" Kirti held the blade and brought it close to her soft skin when her bedroom was forced open

" what the fuck do you think you are doing?" kiraan had no idea why he was edgy in and out of sleep his wolf urging him to go to Kirti and thank god he did, taking the blade out of her hand he flung it making a mental note to look for it in the morning.

Kirti looked at him with shame and guilt written all over her face sobbing into her hand, at how weak and pathetic she was. picking her up gently kiraan placed her onto his lap so that she was straddling him looking at him through blurry eyes she found herself starring into aqua blue and grey pupils "Tadeas" she whispered as she felt herselslowly disappear another part of her grateful that her mate was here she needed to speak to him she knew he was fuming now trying to calm himself, but rather angry at the state he had found her, he shivered at the thought of being a fraction late.

looking at him her pupils dilating red and black, you would think that he would be surprised, Tadeas already knew who Kirti was or rather what she was " tyra" gently cupping her face he knew that Kirti must have been pushed back as she was not in a good state to talk but he needed to speak to her.

" don't be mad at her okay? I will let her out but please just listen to her"

" tyra we could never be mad at you'll but I want answers so I can help her".

tyra nodded and closed her eyes beckoning her human counterpart forward.

unable to hold back Kirti's body was shaking while sobbing, she hated it, she had let everyone down again and she hated it.

" baby?" rubbing her back slowly kiraan knew that he needed to thread carefully this was not the strong girl he was used to seeing no this was someone that was fragile and that needed to be handled with care " I am going to move us to the balcony, some fresh air will do you good, and then we going to talk, I am not forcing you to talk to me, but I am willing to listen okay?" Kirti nodded against his shirt gripping him tightly as they made their way to her balcony.

kiraan sat down with her still in his lap rocking her gently while rubbing soothing circles he began to hum magic shop letting that be the only sound between them.
