" in the bath mum" Priti found herself in her daughter's room it has been a while since she had come in here, chuckling at the bts poster they always thought it was just phase she was going through but boy were they wrong.
" mum is everything okay?" she sat next to her mum on the bed wondering what brought upon the sudden visit.
" yes, everything is fine I just wanted to ask you if you are okay with kiraan being here?" deep down her mum was hoping that something would blossom between the two, ever the observant being she noticed how the boy had always kept an eye on Kirti and not in a perverted sense, this is the first time that she had taken a liking to someone that her daughter had to seem so distant from.
" well yeah, it's okay we have been chatting for a bit and I spoke to him yesterday when I went to see kai, I was hesitant at first but he seems okay I guess" Kirti shrugged not having anything else to say.
" you know it's okay for you to move on right? it's been a while and normally I don't say this but maybe give it a chance you have a whole week to get comfortable with him" Kirti knew where her mother was getting at, she had given herself 6 months and now it's past that, she was not healed fully but she could not hide behind her past forever.
" mum, I am terrified and you know that our generation is so messed up it's not even funny, it's so hard to know if the person is truly interested in you or if you are just a placeholder or time pass"
"I know Kirti but you will know if it's the right person trust me you will feel it" Kirti just Kirti at her mum who left the room after the last statement.

speak of the devil, Kirti wanted to believe that he was different there was something so familiar about him but she could not put her finger on it, she understood what her mother was trying to say but it was easier said than done not too long ago she thought she had found her soulmate only to realize how wrong she was.
Kirti: hey

did you ever think about getting a tattoo?
Kirti: umm yeah I have maybe soon I
just need to find a legit place to get it
done at.
Kiran: well, I can take you to the parlor
I normally go to. I mean if that's okay?
Kirti: that would be quite nice
she smiled, even more, she knew exactly what he was trying to do but she let it slide deep down another part of her wanted the same thing and she realized there was no point in denying it anymore obviously she was not going to make it easy this time she was going to sit back and let someone else put in the effort.
Kiran: oh and instead of me giving you a list
maybe we both could take kai out shopping?
Kirti felt her cheeks heat up, the only boys she had ever done things with were her brothers she wasn't sure how she felt about this but keeping her mum's words in the back of her head

Kirti: that's perfect
kiraan smiled to himself after she spoke to him yesterday he felt a huge burden off his shoulder and at the rate things were going he knew that things will eventually work out
"of course, they have to work out dimwit"

"Can you blame me, I am excited"

kiraan: oh yeah sorry
just go caught up with something
Kirti: do you always get caught up?
kiraan: well kitty I guess

Kirti's face heated up at the mention of the pet name she didn't despise it it was the complete opposite, she knew kai said it innocently but with kiraan, it was completely different it was a term of endearment but also had a possessive ring to it something she had not experienced before.
kiraan: Kirti?
