When i had woken up Ghost was gone, and the sky was starting to go dark again. Fuck, how long did i sleep for?

I sat up, rubbing my eyes and fixing my hair. It had gotten messy from sleeping on the floor. I looked around, Soap and Ghost were gone. I started to panic a little.

I quickly got up and walked outside the safe house. They were no nowhere inside. I stumbled to the front and went to where our truck was. I quickly saw Soap and Ghost loading the car with guns and ammo.

"You're finally awake." Soap joked when he saw me.

"How long did i sleep for?" I asked, walking closer to the car.

"Too long." Ghost said, loading a clip into one of the guns he had.

"You should've woken me up." I defended.

I really didn't need to sleep for ten hours, but i guess my body needed it. I looked into the back of the car and saw there were now multiple guns and cases of bullets, even a few smokes and flashes.

"Wont Alejandro have all this at his own safe house?" I asked, walking around the car

"Just in case we need more." Ghost said.

"When do we leave?" I stood at the front of the car.

"Early in the morning."

"How early?"

Ghost stoped and turned to me.

"Stop with the bloody questions."

I cocked my head in surprise. I decided to leave him alone, he's upset about something, i just don't know what. He seemed okay when i went to sleep, but i was out for a while so anything could've happened.

Ghost and Soap finally stopped loading up the truck, the sky was turning a light twilight blue. I leaned against the car and admired the landscape. There wasn't much else to do.

Mexico sure was beautiful. The sun was setting and was at the perfect spot where the sun cascaded lowly on the horizon. Stars were starting to poke through wispy clouds. There was even a small river not too far out, sun sparkly in the water. I always enjoined nature, it's one of the things that got me through most missions.

I felt a sudden presence next to me and looked to my right and saw Ghost. Soap wasn't outside with us anymore, leaving just Ghost and i. He stood beside me.

"You should head inside." He said.

"Whys that?" I cocked my head.

"It's getting dark, and i want to leave early in the night."

So that's what he meant by early. I turned my head to look at him.

"Did you get any sleep?" I asked.

"No."

I sighed. "You should."

"I don't want to end up sleeping all day like you did."

I sent him a glare.

"Rude." I got up to leave when Ghost grabbed my wrist.

"Don't." He pushed me back against the car, putting his hands on the sides of car next to my head.

I crossed my arms as stared up at him. Ghost didn't speak and neither did i.

"Hey, Ghost?" I heard Soap from the side of the safe house.

Ghost turned over his shoulder where Soaps voice came from before looking back to me. He took his hands off the car, giving one long look, and then turned and left.
