Marlie's POV

The next morning, after writing down all the details from my new visions, I wake up Rosie and take her with me to the store. I get the groceries I needed and then head over to the infant clothing department. I look around for a while until I find a newborn red onesie with the text 'Mini Avenger' written in golden letters that were outlined in black. I also bought a pair of Infinity booties, that looked like the propulsion boots on my suit and a red bag.

When I get home, I put all the groceries away and put Rosie down for her nap, before putting the clothes and pregnancy test in the bag. I place it on the counter in the kitchen, then head down to the lab.

One of last night's visions gave me a big key, in the future battle. I finally had a direction to go in, now all I had to do was prepare. The last time I visited Strange, he was able to help me learn how to control and direct my visions, so I could see what would happen as I made changes to the future course. It'd been a helpful skill and It'd been nice to see how certain changes redirected the course. It was slow work, but there was a lot at stake.

I'm in the lab, because last night's vision gave me an idea for a project that will not only help the future, but also improve our suits. I decide to run some models of my idea as I wait for Tony to get home.

He arrived a little after one, right before I was expecting Rosie to wake up. I had already finish things up in the lad and had started cleaning up the house. I was sitting on the living room floor, organizing Rosie's toys, when I heard the front door open. I turned around and saw Tony walking in carrying his bag. He set his bag on the couch and I got up and went over to greet him.

"Hey, Tones, how was you're trip." I said as I gave him a hug and a kiss.

"Pretty good. I was able to seal in the deal, but I'm glad to be home. I missed my girls."

"We missed you too. Rosie will be so excited when she wakes up."

At the mention of Rosie, his smile grew even wider than it already was.

"Where is my baby girl?"

"She's still napping, but she should be waking up here soon." I then paused before continuing.

"Actually, there's something I want to give you before she wakes up."

I let a sly grin cross my face as Tony looked at me in surprise and amusement.

"Oh? What would that be?"

I grab his hand and lead him into the kitchen. I stopped and leaned against the countertop. Tony saw the bag and grabbed it. Before opening it, he looked up at me in confirmation. I gave him a slight nod and he opened it. I watched confusion take over his features as he took out the newborn onesie and booties. He looked up at me at me with amusement as he held them up.

"Marlie, I'm flattered, but I don't think it will fit me. It won't even fit Rosie."

I laughed. "There's more."

Tony looked back in the bag and pulled out the positive pregnancy test. I watched as Tony's face changed from shock, to excitement, to worry, then back to excitement. When he looked up at me, I could only see the joy and excitement and I couldn't help but show the same.

"You're pregnant." Tony said with a huge smile on his face. "We're gonna have another baby?"

I nodded and Tony set everything down on the counter, before walking over to me and wrapping me in his arms. I melted into him and let reality hit me. We were going to have another baby. Our miracle baby, that we never expected to receive but couldn't wait to have.

Tony and I pulled out of the hug but stayed in each other's arms. I looked into his eyes and saw the same emotions I was feeling. He was definitely excited, but I could also see a hint of worry. We couldn't be happier about expanding our family, but we also knew something dangerous was coming. What kind of world would our children have to grow up in. We didn't talk about it though. Right now, we just wanted to focus on our shared joy. We could worry about the future later.

We spent the rest of the day unpacking Tony's bag and playing with Rosie. When Rosie woke up, Tony and I both went to get her from her crib. When she saw Tony, she could contain her excitement. She squealed in joy and called out to Tony, who took her in his arms. It was the same reaction we received whenever either of us were gone for more than a day.

That night I laid in bed on my back next to Tony who had one of his arms draped around me. He had his hand under my t-shirt and was rubbing circles over my stomach.

"I can't believe we're going to have another baby. I didn't think we'd get to experience this again."

I looked over at him and saw nothing but love in his eyes.

"I know. We're really lucky... I was thinking about calling Blake to see if he would be my doctor this time. I trust him and besides I think I'd like to try a homebirth this time around."

Tony nodded. "Sure, whatever you want. We better tell Pepper about it too. If she finds out from Blake instead of us, we'll never hear the end of it."

I chuckled. "Yeah, she's a good friend." I then paused. "What do you think the baby is?"

Tony thought for a moment. "Well, we already have a girl, so a boy could be nice, but I have a feeling it's another girl. Honestly, though I don't care. I just can't believe we're having another one. What about you?"

"I don't know, maybe a boy? I don't really care what it is. I'm just hoping for a healthy baby. I'm getting older and I know there are more risks now."

I felt Tony squeeze me tighter. "I know, but there's no sense in worrying ourselves over ifs. We'll get you checked out and put your mind at ease. Everything will work out Marlie."

I turned in his arms and kissed him. The kiss quickly grew heated, and Tony and I didn't get to sleep for a while.
