3rd person pov
the next morning , indiana woke up and did what she did every morning but now when she wad getting ready, her phone rang as she was putting her necklace on and she picked it up as she read that it was from jade
"hey j what's up?" she asked as she put her phone between her shoulder and her ear.
"are you on your way?" jade asked and indiana looked down at herself to make sure she was presentable
"i'm ready and on the way. i'll be there soon" she replied
"i'll see you there" jade said and the call ended as indiana went to the stables and saw everyone set up. she saw becky with jade and zoe. they were setting up their tents and indiana smiled as becky got it up
"it looks amazing becks" she called and then it felt as indiana sighed.
"and i take it back" she said and she smiled as she heard pin speaking
"alright everyone. welcome to bright fields pony camp!" pin said and indiana felt arms wrapping around her as she turned and saw her boyfriend smiling at her
"hi" he whispered
"hey" she whispered back and they turned their heads back to pin to listen.
"we've got loads of things lined up for you today, including our famous egg-and-spoon race. all concluding in an incredible performance by our yards very own hip hop dressage stars. there's sessions running all day so check the tack wall to see where you need to be" he said and they all cheered. indiana turned in marcus' arms and he smiled
"i think someone is waiting for you. remember to train and figure out your routine too" he said and she felt someone tug her arm as she pulled away from marcus and was led into the arm. indiana smiled at the kid pulling her and she felt happy
"oh hello" she said and the kid smiled up at her and she smiled at them as she began to make over the horses with the kids until she noticed the time and she sighed. she ran her hand over the horses side before she looked at the kid
"i do have to go but i'm sure that mia and firefly might need a make over" she said and she smiled at mia as she walked to macs stall and she led him out. she tacked him up and she ran her hand over his side before she heard someone and she looked up
"you're training?" gaby asked and indiana nodded with a smile
"i have to, do you want to join me?" she asked and gaby smiled and nodded
" i would love to , thank you dia" she said and she walked over to jet as she tacked him up and then she rode over to indiana and mac
"you know the different between you and zoe indiana?" gaby asked and indiana nodded
"well there's a big difference but tell me" indiana said as she began to ride mac around and gaby followed
"you actually listen to people, you try to work things out, you care about people, you put others first and you never make it about you even when it should be. you're selfless and caring where as zoe focuses too much on herself and what she needs or wants. that's the difference between you and zoe" Gaby ranted and indiana sat there and listened. she almost didn't believe the words that were coming out of gabys mouth
"gaby you've changed completely and i can see that you're trying. the spotlight should be on you right now and i can see that she's trying to take it but don't let her. this is you and your moment" indiana said as soon as she said that callum walked over and indiana seperated herself. she began to set up a routine with mac and she practiced it twice before she had it fully down and prepared. she wrote it all down on the piece of paper and she put it in her pocket as she rode back over to gaby and saw them facing zoe.
"girls, we have something great lined up and trust me it is way better then some boring little foal" zoe said and indiana shared a look with her but she didn't say anything
"well what is it?" one of the girls asked and indiana turned back to zoe who stuttered
"knowing zoe, it'll be something amazing" callum said and indiana inwardly groaned
"something never seen before" gaby finished for her
"had it got wild horses in it?" the girl asked excitedly
"oh yeah. actually, i heard zoe's gonna ride one. right zoe?" callum said and indiana scoffed as she clicked her tongue and she rode away from the scene as she put mac back into his stall and she smiled as she untacked him and hooked his lead back up to the wall. she walked out of his stall and into the yard as she saw everyone around the arena and she stood next to marcus and the others as they waited for becky but then they heard something and indiana sighed
"ladies and gents, watch and wonder as zoe phillips rides ariel the wild horse" becky said and zoe rode in on what looked like to be ariel but it wasn't and indiana knew that. gabby didn't know that until raven jumped the puissance wall and indiana took a deep breathe with gaby as they both sighed and nodded
"gaby are you alright?" she asked and gaby nodded
"i'm just glad it was raven and not ariel. i couldn't handle it if it wasn't him" gaby stated and indiana nodded
"yeah i know but ariel's safe and sound. we'll be alright" she replied and ariel nodded as she hugged indiana close to her and they both smiled.
but when they found out what they did, what indiana said? it wouldn't stand true and they all knew that.
