3rd Person POV

Indiana had found out when she got back to the stables that she and mac had made it in the county show. They would be riding, she wasn't scared about this, and she never would be. When she got to the stables, she and Marcus went out into the arena, and he held macs reins as he looked at Indiana and finally noticed the bruise that adorned her arm and her hand.

"does it hurt?" he asked her, and she looked up from her fiddling hands and into Marcus's eyes. he stepped forward and grabbed her hand as he ran his fingers over the bruises, and she slightly flinched away.

"only when I think about it," she responded, and he lifted her hand to his lips as he kissed it and smiled. she blushed and pulled her arm away softly.

"Then don't think about it. Think about the fact that you made it into the county show," he said, and she smiled as she looked at mac and nodded

"yeah, you're right," she exclaimed, and he handed her the reins as she climbed on and then looked down at Marcus.

"well, then you know what to do. I'm just here to watch and help when you need it," he told her, and she started to ride around as he walked faster, and she noticed mia with darcy holding the hose.

"mac, kick dust" she whispered and he stopped fast as dust flew up and covered mia when she went to spray Indiana and Mac

"oh I'm sorry mia, maybe you should wash susies horse some where else" she called and mia huffed as she dropped the hose and walked away. Indiana scoffed as she watched her and then she looked at Marcus

"I think we are done for today good sir" she told him in a posh accent and he smiled as she stopped and she climbed down off of him

"so the dance..." Marcus asked her and she smiled

"we always go together, that's never changed Marcus we know that" she told him and he nodded as she left the arena with mac and put him back in the yard. she leaned her head against him as she got the hose and she started to wash him off . she smiled as she continued to spray him down and watch all of the dust off

"Indiana" Marcus called and she looked up and smiled

"whats up?" she asked and he ran his hand over the back of his neck.

"what if I don't want to go as friends? what if I want to go as your date?" he asked and it felt like time had stopped. Indiana smiled and nodded

"then its a date" she exclaimed as he smiled, he leaned down and kissed her cheek before he began to walk backwards and bump into the stall. she smiled as he rubbed the back of his neck, turned and walked away from her. she made sure that he was gone before she ran into the shed and grabbed beckys attention

"MARCUS ASKED ME TO THE DANCE" she exclaimed and the girls squealed as they all smiled and jumped up and down with each other

"tell me you said yes" becky said and Indiana nodded

"of course I said yes, I would be crazy not to" she said and becky nodded as they all turned and started to walk out of the shed together. Indiana looped her arm through beckys as they talked to each other. Jade smiled at the fact that becky had gotten over her fear of being around Indiana. she used to scare her but now those two were like best friends and becky couldn't seem to want to get away from Indi

"maybe if we stop treating pin like an outsider, he'll stop acting like one" zoe exclaimed and Indi stopped walking as she finally tuned in to what jade and zoe were saying. she tilted her head as she listened in

"you should ask him to the barn dance," Becky said and Jade laughed but Indiana couldn't find what was funny.

"as if, pin never comes to the dance," Jade said and Indiana sighed

"don't lose hope, pin is a good person and he deserves to go to this dance. maybe we need to find out more about him" Indiana stated

" well he did use to own raven, I'm going to the moor. are you coming?" Zoe asked and Indiana shook her head

"no zoe you do it on your own. this is your journey and what you want to do" she said and she turned around as she left the girls. she walked to Mac's stable and she sighed as she opened the gate and jumped up onto it. she lifted her hand up as she pet him and smiled

"he asked me to the dance boy" she said and then she heard a noise outside and she looked out to see Rosie and ben talking to each other. she jumped off the gate and followed them to see Becky telling Rosie the story of the ghost pony and she laughed as she smiled at them and leaned against the doorway.

"don't tell me you're encouraging this" Jade said to her and Indiana shrugged as she smiled and sighed

"Becky is a believer and so am I. there's nothing wrong with it jade," she said and she pushed herself off the doorway. when she looked out into the arena, she saw zoe with raven and Marcus and she smiled. the thing about Indiana and Marcus was that they knew where they stand with each other and that would never change. they had practically been betrothed their whole lives since they met each other and that hadn't changed.

for the next few days, Indiana would watch zoe on raven and she would Marcus train them. some days she helped and other days she just watched with a smile on her face. she knew that zoe had it in her and she loved to see the confidence radiating off of her. that was until the day of the water jump, they went but raven stopped right before and zoe looked at Indiana and she nodded

"its alright zoe. we still have some time" she told her and zoe smiled

"No biggie then but there's something I have to do first" Zoe spoke and she got off of raven as they brought him back to his stall. Indiana knew what she was going to do and she smiled sadly. emerald and rocky were buried next to them due to ted hawthorne and she was grateful for him

Indiana for once in her life that she claimed was miserable was happier than she had ever felt.
