I had barley been able to sleep, keeping a constant eye on Ivy, she had been badly beaten for a young girl to go through that hurt me, I needed to protect her and Tasha.

"Jon sleep, she'll be alright, I'll watch her." Joe tapped me on the shoulder edging me to move.

"ok, but if she calls or wakes up or anything, come wake me."

Joe nodded.

Three long hours later I heard crying... Ivy. I shot up bolting to her room. Joe was holding her rocking her back and forth.

"Jon?" her voice wavered. "Tasha stood by the other door leading to the bathroom, looking half dead herself, she was exhausted. Looking after  your baby sister you never knew you had must be tough at times.

"what happened?" I darted my eyes between Joe and Tasha.

Tasha sighted before answering, "She woke up screaming, you were exhausted most likely didn't hear her, she's been in and out of the bathroom throwing up, out of pure fear... god I'm going to kill them for doing this to her!" Tasha became frustrated. "Jon she's getting worse."

"Tasha go rest I'll stay with her, you looked exhausted go." I kissed her forehead as she stumbled back into our unoccupied room.

"Joe you go too, Colby be here soon we're stay." he nodded looking just as out as Tasha looked. "Keep her comfortable and calm."

Colby wondered in around 2am, "How is she?" I turned seeing Colby at the foot of the door.

I simply shook my head no. Ivy woke up panicked plastered across her face she started to cry, hugging her knees to her chest. Quickly I enclosed her to a hug. "shh shh, everything will be ok."

"no it wont, if I wasn't born Tasha wouldn't have me to deal with, this problem would have never happened its all my fault." she began to cry harder. I had enough.

"IVY! Listen to me!" I shook her slightly. "it's not your fault, pull yourself together your almost 16, don't act like a baby." I got up and left to annoyed with the situation.

Colby came up behind me, "A little harsh dude." he sounded annoyed.

"Do you here that?" he tilted his head to hear something.

"No.." Colby sounded confused.

"exactly...now I'm going to bed, I suggest you do too." I walked off leaving Colby somewhat confused in the hallway.

The rest of the night was silent, I guess my words worked although each of us poked our head round the door every hour or so, she slept soundlessly throughout the night.
