*jake's POV*

- Ella!

I was startled awake and looked around an unfamiliar room. I was lying in the cold sheets trying to understand what was going on. The last thing I remembered was my black suit and my love's white bouquet. What happened next? Where is Ella?

I tried to get up from the bed but I felt pain in my chest which made me stop my actions. Just then the door opened and someone ran to me.

- Don't move, Jacob. You need to rest.

I looked him in the eyes and I couldn't believe he was here.

- Where am I and why are you with me Nathan?

- Just lay back down Jacob, we can talk about everything later.

- Where is Ella?

- It's not a good time to talk about this.

- I said, where is Ella?

Nathan sighed and looked at me with sad eyes. Since when does this man have emotions? And why in the world is he sad?

- Do you remember what happened at your wedding?

- I remember Daniel standing next to me and Ella coming down the aisle. She looked amazing and then her smile... smile... faded-

*Flashback*

Just then I heard a voice... sound that changed my life... gunshot. There was a terrifying silence, Ella was staring straight into my eyes in horror, and her snow-white dress was turning red more and more every second.

I was seeing everything in slow motion. People were shouting around me, they were running, talking, hiding... Daniel was telling me something but all I could see was how the smile faded on Ella's face... how she let go of white bouquet which was now red from her blood, and put her hand on the wound in her chest. She looked at me but I was frozen in place. I couldn't move or say anything. She started falling down but thankfully Daniel catched her in time.

- Jake! wake up! Help me!

Only now I heard Daniel's voice. I blinked a few times and then I realized what happened. I could move again. I started running towards my Ella, my love but I couldn't get to her. Pain in my chest stopped me in my tracks.

- Jake!

*End of Flashback*

Ella... My Ella... she...

- WHERE IS SHE?

I didn't care if I was screaming or crying. I had to see Ella. I had to see her right this instant. She couldn't leave me. She couldn't...

- After you two were shot, you were rushed to hospital. You had emergency surgery and... unfortunately Ella... couldn't make it. She died...

Everything went silent. No... no... no... That's impossible. She wouldn't leave me. All of this is a mistake. Ella couldn't die. Never!

I jumped up from the bed, ignoring the pain. I ran towards the door but Nathan stopped me. I tried my best to free myself but he didn't let me.
