okiee anywho,
If you could live in any anime universe for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

on to the story!

-

The rest of the night was as usual, we finished our dinner and talked for a while, until it was lights out.

We stayed up for a while though, past our curfew to be exact.

It was different from any other night though. Instead of fun everyone was quiet, calm, and anything of those words.

We all had tea, and while we did so, Eren mocked Levi because of the way he held his cup. Which, in result, caused Levi to smack Eren's cup to the ground, making him clean up the shattered glass.

"I-I'm going to sleep now!" Eren announces, obviously flustered.

He storms off afterwards, brining his crowd that consisted of Mikasa, Connie, Jean, and Sasha. Armin being already in his room.

So it was me and Levi.

"Levi," I poked his cheek.

"Shove that finger into some shit," he rolled his eyes.

I jokingly shot him an over exaggerated look of utter sadness, only to receive nothing but a shard of complete shun.

"Pfffft," I plop my head onto my hand.

He glances at me out of the corner of his eye and I smile. Levi looks back at his cup of tea.

"I'm so bored," I pouted my lips.

"Go to sleep," Levi answers back.

"But I'm not sleepy, I want to do something." My eyes flicker to the man beside me. He's staring into a void of complete nothingness, sipping his tea while he speaks to an annoyance that he gladly calls; his girlfriend.

"You wanna fuck?" He says nonchalantly, as if he had said it without one thought about it. Levi was straightforward.

"No!" My mouth spoke. But if my brain would of talked it would of been a whole different answer.

I poked at the old wooden table we sat on, picking at the old wood.

"Tch," Was all he replied with. Then, Levi placed his cup back on the table and grabbed my hand.

"Let's go, you brat." He rolled his eyes yet again.

"I'm sleepy now," I yawned a fake yawn, and shot him a tired look laced with sarcasm.

"Shut the fuck up."

"Love you too."

Levi took me to a secluded area outside of headquarters. It was the roof. The place was quiet of course, he liked things like that. But it was also quite chilly, and I did not like things like that so Levi had to snuggle close to me, which I hope he didn't mind doing.

We sat cuddled together, staring at the sky above and Levi, Levi's face was relaxed after a whole day of training and tolerating everyone.

"Levi?" I hummed.

"What?" He answered.

God, his face looked so great underneath this moonlight. The way it glowed and the way it was structured, I never really took the moment to just look at him. Mostly because it's creepy to stare at someone for a long while.

"Um, well, it's about the expedition." My voice was calm, even though talking about the topic was overwhelming. It always was.

"Well? What about that shit do you want to know?" He said after a moment
passed without me uttering a word.

Really, I didn't know what to say. Maybe it was just my instinct to say something in this silent atmosphere. But silence was good, and when it was silent Levi's personality was good.

So I snuggled up to Levi some more, brining myself closer to him. And I told him, "Nevermind."

He just looked at me with his eye brows furrowed together.

"Hmph, brat."

For some reason, Levi calling me a brat didn't hurt my feelings. It made me feel glad actually, because Levi was still Levi.

The rest of the night continued on with useless conversations talking about nothing (everything). I did most of the talking, he did most of the listening. He was good at listening. But when he finally spoke, I terribly lacked the characteristic of listening well. I would always interrupt him in the middle of a sentence, which, I guess was why he stuck to listening to me talking.

We were still in our cuddling position, though he shifted himself a little to keep himself comfortable, and as did I. And it was great to feel him next to me.

"Do you believe in reincarnation?" I blurted in the midst of a moment of silence.

"What kind of fuckery is that?" Levi scoffed, staring at the bright stars upon the blanket of darkness that we call the night sky.

"Do you not know what that is?" I stuck my tongue out at him.

Levi looked at me and I looked at him. Then, he brought his hand up to my forehead and flicked it, instantly causing me to recoil.

"Owwie, what was that?" My hands caught up with my forehead, as I began whining.

"Of course I know what the fuck reincarnation is, I'm not a dumb shit. Even though you're a dumb shit." Levi immediately pulls me back closer to him, he rolls his eyes and kissed the area on my head he had flicked.

"Well," I say, rubbing my head once his kiss was done, "Do you believe in reincarnation?"

Levi thought for a while, a short while to be exact.

"That shit is for fucking weirdos."

"Oh."

So I brought my hand to his head and flicked it.

"Fuckin-"

"Now you're the dumb shit," I laughed.

It was moment's like these where Levi wasn't a Corporal, he was just him, himself. Moment's like these where I can call him shit, and he wouldn't care.

Levi's head rested against my shoulder, the ends of his hair could be felt against my skin. His small, soft, breaths were audible now. And as I look over to him, his eyelids were halfway closed.

"You're such a baby," I poke at the bridge of his nose.

He mumbles tiredly, words that I couldn't translate into any known language.

"Okay, if you're tired then let's go to bed now." I pat his head.

"Tell me something fucking chill first," His voice was rusty, sleepy, and slow. It was as if he had no energy left in him to speak any longer.

I nodded and petted his smooth hair. My lips touched his head and I whispered, "Even if we're apart, I will always be with you."
