"Tch. Your cleaning is atrocious, do it again."

Currently, Levi Ackerman stood in an aggravated stance and watched as the cadets cleaned every inch of the headquarters.

"Y-Yes sir!" Jean stumbles upon his feet in the midst of hurrying towards the mess hall to once again, for the third time, clean it.

I was sure that the mess hall was clean, sparkling clean in fact, but I didn't know what Levi's definition of clean was and so I wasn't one to judge whether or not something was clean enough to fit Levi's expectations.

We were back to our regular schedule, since spring break was officially over for us. It was back to waking up early, training, cleaning, eating, and even more training for the upcoming expedition that Erwin planned.

My stomach still ached a little, thankfully not as painful as before, but still it gave me the advantage of me not doing much cleaning and not putting myself through hard training.

"[Y/N]," Levi looks over to me, "How are you holding up?"

I lift my head up from the surface of the floor to Levi's stance, "Good."

"Can you stand up for me?"

I didn't question him, even if I really wanted to. It didn't matter though, because I listened and stood in front of him, my eyes staring into him steel-grey ones.

"Hug me."

"Wha-"

And before I could say something, he gently placed his arms below my waist and pushed me into his body, which was surprisingly warm. Reluctantly, I hugged him back whilst burying my head into the crook of his neck.

The sweet moment could of lasted longer, his warm and relaxed muscles could of lingered upon my skin for a few more seconds, perhaps even minutes, if it weren't for Hanji opening the door with such a force that it hit the wall behind it.

"HELLO MY LOVELY CHILDREN," She calls out, "HOW ARE YOU TWO DOING TODAY? And by that I mean, which position are you guy going to be in tonight?" Hanji laughs at that last bit and blushes.

"Shut the fuck up, shitty-glasses." Levi retorts, his eyes practically piercing away like a thousand daggers in the most intimidating way.

Hanji knew when or when to not take Levi seriously, and so she took this situation as a moment in which taking Levi seriously as a professional Lance Corporal would of been the last thing she would of thought to do.

She laughs once again and all I could do was stare at her, the most unnoticeable dash of pink spreading throughout my cheeks.

"Well, [Y/N]," Hanji leans against the wall, "What're your thoughts on little miss ginger staying in Squad Levi?" She amused. I assumed that the thought of me feeling threatened of jealous was funny to her.

"I think I should kick her out of my squad." Levi says blankly.

"Haha, sure Levi you do that." Hanji replies, then looks at me afterwards. "Anyways, everyone seems to be ignoring her."

"That isn't my problem," I mutter.

"Yeah ok. Anyways, I came here to make a bet with Mr. Shorty over here so [Y/N] you should go. And I mean that in the nicest way possible." Hanji beams, she send me a bright smile as if it were to help me not doubt what she was planning to do.

"What the actual fuck. I'm not betting on some stupid shit." Levi rolls his eyes and clicks his tongue.

"Mm, fine. Whatever Levi," Hanji leans into Levi's ear, "But did you know that the court has decided to make [Y/N] watch over Ms. Petra Ral?"

"Tch. What kind of shit are you maki-"

"It's true, King Shorty."

"What? What's true?" I tilted my head.

"It's called a secret." Hanji winks at me, then she turns back to Levi to whisper more things.

"Anyways, I over heard her talking to Oluo that she might so something to [Y/N]. Now, I don't know what that something is, but I'm betting that it isn't good." All I saw was Hanji eye me throughout some parts of whatever she talked about. All I did was stare.

"Bullshit." Levi didn't seem to whisper back, in fact, he was quite oblivious to the fact in which Hanji shot glares at him everything he didn't reply with a volume that wasn't loud enough for it to be audible to me.

"Listen, listen. I also heard that she can request for someone different if you know, something happens." Hanji giggled.

"And what would that something be?" Again, Levi ignored the fact that Hanji wanted him to be quiet.

So now, the proximity of Hanji and Levi didn't seem to be as close as Hanji began to back away slowly.

She smiled and said out loud, "That something you'll have to figure out! See you later Levi! Have fun, [Y/N]!"

Levi looked at me blankly after a brief moment of silence, "Hug me."

And so I did.

-

The day went by normally, sometimes when Hanji passed by she'd ask if Levi had done anything to entertain me yet. Of course, I had said no and that I was too busy cleaning, then she'd frown and walk away.

I've bumped into Petra a few times, most of which she'd smile at me sweetly and bowed her head a little. Every encounter made me wonder why they hadn't decide to lock her up, so I guess I kind of wanted to slam her face into the ground.

"[Y/N]! [Y/N]!"

I turned around. Behind me was Oluo, his eyes were squinted and he waved at me from a far. He began to walk casually towards me as I stood in the middle of the hallway.

"Hm?" I hummed when he finally was in front of me.

"Come with me, I want to show you som-"

"[Y/N]! Over here!"

As soon as Oluo was about to grab my wrist, my eyes darted behind my shoulder to see Eren running up to me.

"One sec," I say to Oluo, freeing myself from his rather weak grasp and turning to Eren.

Eren came over to me almost breathless, "Levi wants you in his office."

"Why?" I furrowed my brows, "I already cleaned his office." The last bit had came out a bit as a whine.

"Please! He said if I don't bring you back he'd give me stable duty for two weeks!"

"Two weeks isn't so bad."

"Please, [Y/N]!"

"Fine."

Before I headed off with Eren, I faced back to Oluo, whom seemed almost... mad?

"Um, I better go. You can talk to me later though!" After that, I sprinted to Levi's office. Hoping that he wouldn't ask me to clean off a speck of dust that I had probably missed.

Or maybe he'd ask for another hug, again.
