The party was all fun and good but terribly dull for me men either twice my age or twice under it continuously came up to me asking me to dance so I of course now sat alone drinking my wine hellbent on getting drunk until I was tipsy and joined by my half sisters graining Voice
"Daphne!!!" She yelled from the middle of the dancing floor causing the music players to stop and people to stare
"That would be me" I stated turning in my seat " what can I do you for?" My head rested on my hand that was propped up by my elbow
"You need to stop being a wh-" she was interrupted by me standing up and walking over to her as Daemon followed with his eyes, his eyes roamed over my body I imagine most men did but his was the only stare my body had butterflies even now from
"You were saying dear?" I asked
"You need to stay away from-" she was interrupted by my hand colliding with her face making her fall to the ground
"Bit of sisterly advice don't tell a queen what to do especially in her bestfriends kingdom won't end well for you my dear" I held my hand with the other looking for signs of bursing
"Why are you such a cunt!" She yelled holding one side of her face with her hand as the other held her sitting slightly up on the floor
I shrugged "We are buried in broken dreams, we are knee deep without a plea" I stated before adding "you also are a cunt so I suppose I got that from you"
"And I got it from our father!" This caused people to gasp making me roll my tipsy eyes
"And yet you both were whores" I tutted "Never learns" I shook my head and turned to walk towards the door
"Your mother was as well" I stopped dead in my tracks and snapped my head to her before taking a breath and closing my eyes as she stood
"I was going to be so kind, so gentle" I stated looking at Viserys "but sometimes People just don't know when to shut the fuck up" before Liliana could even respond she was on the ground due to me kicking her, I held my sword that was under my dress against her chest before moving it to the front of her throat tipping her head up to me
"P-please" Liliana begged I hummed in response
"I like you begging, do it again." I stated as people watched most with admiration in their eyes others just not caring
"Please Daphne! Please!" She begged
"never ever! Mention MY mother again" I stated "Or else I'll have your head on a stick" I added before I pulled my sword from her neck leaving a small cut along her neck before finally taking my leave warning stares from Viserys, Alicent, Rhaenyra and a worried Daemon.
*** When I left early due to Liliana it was only a leave to be disturbed in my own chambers
Not in the fun way.
Daemon came running into my chambers "if your here to yell at me get it over with" I started throwing my arms at my side after taking my hair down letting my curls fall on my shoulders
He sighed and sat on my bed, closest side to me and to the window he stared at me for a moment before speaking "you are a wonder to me" he stated with a smile
I smiled "I really could kill her you know" I told him before shaking my head "you and I do not do this anymore go away" I said
"Do what?" He asked
"Have conversations, flirt. Be friendly" I told him
"I would like to change that-"
"Why because I have a title bigger than your own or your egos?" I asked with a raised eyebrow he chuckled before meeting my eyes a piece of his hair falling from its perfect spot behind his ear
"A picnic tomorrow" he suggested smiling hopefully
"No" I stated
"A dragon ride tonight" with that Craxes was by my window I turned and saw him rolling in the air his mouth open as if he was smiling Daemon came from behind me "and a picnic tomorrow" he rested his hands on my waist
"No Daemon you can't just show up and expect things to return to the way they once were" I snapped removing his hands from my waist and walking to my table and taking out my earring
"Why not?" He asked following
As I finally removed my last earring I turned to him "because you broke us!" I yelled "you broke your promise you broke my heart and to make matters worse you are bedding my whore of a sister!"
"Who I only wanted to protect you from!" He yelled causing me to be quiet
"What?" I asked as he sighed and sat on the other side of my bed once again the side closest to me
"She was threatening to kill you so I took her but I did not" he pointed his finger at me "I did not bed her or even think of for a second since all those dreadful years ago" he stated "it is you and I who's children I wish to raise"
"I bare your children so you can find another whore to use?" I laughed and went to open the door for him, only for Daemon to hold the door shut with one arm as his other free hand covered mine on the doorknob
"I want a family with you" he breathed "a happy family" I stopped trying to open the door and moved my hand but Daemon just held it "mainly with only you and I forever but I will always love our children or your own no matter who you wish to have them with, you may not be my wife in the eyes of some god somewhere and in sometime but in my eyes you are life itself you're my life Daphne" he took both my hands "You are the reason I wish to awaken every morn and my very last thought at night"
