Darling all is fair in love and war.

The moment I woke up I stared at my ceiling for a moment before hearing Saphira land on my balcony I glanced up at her trying to ready myself for what I was preparing myself to do

Defy the king? Yes.

Possibly destroy a Prince? Indefinitely

I quickly got dressed and attached my sword into place before I was about to climb on Saphira, Rhaenyra ran into my room.

"He took the egg!" She told me before noticing me half climbed on my dragon "you know already?" She asked I looked at her

"I was about to go and get it back Princess" I said climbing down from Saphira

"You only call me princess when your worried" she stated

"Your uncle- the prince has greatly angered not only the king but myself also" I told her

"You might kill him if you see him" she added "I'll go with you" she told me

"Princess you might get hurt" I told her "it's better for me to go" I added Looking down

"And so might you!" She said loudly

"Better losing a princess of nothing than lose the heir to the iron throne" I stated looking at her

"I'm not the heir, I am not a son" She claimed

"With what your uncle has done and with the king naming you his heir as he will do soon" I answered her before meeting her eye "I am dispensable you are not" I told her

"You said we were sisters!" She yelled tears threatening to spill "I just lost mother I refuse to lose you too so I am joining you" she told me I smiled at her and nodded knowing better than to fight her on this matter after all

We were sisters. In our hearts that were joined as one, as we always have been.

"You bringing Syrax?" I asked her she nodded
