Daphnes POV.

My heart remained stone I hadn't broken down in my presence or others I simply awoke an Orphan, and alone.

Daemon had stayed most of the night with me until we fought and he ran like he tends to do in my presence.

I sighed as my lady maids whom had been replaced by my childhood friends, they helped me slip on the black and gold dress

"I am sorry Princess" Kenzie told me as I hummed in response

"Are you alright princess?" Charlotte asked

"Yes." I uttered as I slipped on my heeled shoes and we left my chambers

*

We met Rhaenyra and Viserys as Alicent hung a few steps ahead

"Are you sure-" I cut the king off

"I am fine" I answered looking straight towards my mothers now bandaged up body that lay on flowers holding her up "it is beautiful your grace thank you" I touched his hand and he gave me a sad smile before we headed to the front of the crowd

Rhaenyra held my hand as I did for her all those years ago as Alicents child stood behind us.

Daemon was still nowhere to be seen-

Gasps amerged from the crowd behind us making me feel nothing but anger even more so when I turned to see Daemon walking to the front behind him, his son, and of course Liliana in a rich looking green dress showing support to Alicent and a fuck you to me.

I turned from them as they stood next to Viserys and Alicent.

Swing, swing, swing.
I want to rip her apart.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by Alicent whom took a step away from the pair and moved to my side showing me her support. As she gave my hand as squeeze as the Priest finished talking, I was never one for holiness or a god but if they were gods or even one-

Why do this to me?
Why when everything was alright?

"It is time" Viserys mumbled to me as I finally noticed my youngest dragon at my heels watching his mother, Saphia stood tall waiting on my call from her spot behind my mothers body on the hillside.

"I can do it-" Liliana announced. Loud.

Take her tongue.

I sighed and stepped two feet ahead remembering my mothers last words

Issa byka princess

my little princess.

"Saphia dracarys" I stated loud enough for all to hear and not a piece of emotion in my voice. Saphia did as she was told and my mothers body was in flames
