Chapter Seventeen.

Stealing Kisses.

Daphnes POV

Viserys designed the perfect day for Rhaenyra and I which was what he knew I wanted for my celebration for my day of Birth.

We spent the entire day together well most of the day together until Rhaenyra caught out Daemon spying which caused him to pull me aside within the castle walls and Rhae to disappear

"Happy Birthday" he smiled while holding me against the wall I smiled back at him

"Good Morning Prince" I said "where's my birthday kiss?" I asked mostly wanting to watch his reaction as he looked around the empty corridor before looking back at me, lustful.

"Hm" he thought for a moment "I have a surprise" Daemon said before putting his lips on mine and there it was the thing I longed for

Some type of Passion I may have men under me to pleasure but none of them gave me butterflies like Daemon did so effortlessly even with a glance  he has my heart and he knows it

He pulled away leaving me to frown

"Come" Daemon said smiling as I took his hand in mine

We walked out to the courtyard where the blood wyrm dragon sat, Caraxes, Daemons pride and joy other than me.

"What are you doing?" I asked as Daemon gestured for the dragon caretakers to take their leave

Leaving just him, I and Caraxes "Are you going to fed me to your Dragon for sleeping with that Guard?" I asked with a laugh which caused me to cover it with the hand that once held his hand but soon died the second he looked at me with an angry expression, like I had just stolen the iron throne from him, resulting in him using his natural Valyrian language

"Nyke would dōrī ivestragī mirros nykeā anyone ōdrikagon ao Issa jorrāelagon" he stated

I would never let anything or anyone hurt you my love'

I couldn't help but smile wide like an idiot and he noticed and chuckled to himself

"Come I want to introduce you to someone" He stated holding out his hand again for me to take I took it and he held my hand out as we got closer to Caraxes

"He's gonna eat me" I said

"I might if you don't stop complaining princess" he said through a chuckle I playfully smacked his arm

Caraxes roared as we approached before sniffing around me making me laugh as Daemon let go of my hand

Turns out his Dragon already likes me

"Have you noticed it yet princess?" Daemon asked standing closer to me

"Noticed what prince?" I asked copying him

"He didn't eat you" We laughed as he placed an arm around me and I touched Caraxes

"Kessa ao kostagon call zȳhon muñnykeā" Daemon told his Dragon

Yes you may call her mother

Using a play from my words from the other day

I laughed smiling up at Daemon before smashing my lips onto his

"The feast begins soon" he stated

"Then perhaps you should come help me get ready" I said before bitting my bottom lip which made Daemon smirk

"Of course my love"

My heart. He owns it he could break it and be the only one to be able to put it back together but I have a feeling he won't break it.

Things feel quite different now and I don't know why maybe the gods have taken a likeness to me

After leaving the courtyard and stealing a couple more kisses Daemon and I entered my chambers

"Now what we're you saying to your dragon something about calling me Mama?" I laughed

"Why not to your liking Princess?" He asked sitting on my bed

"It's what I call my Mother" I laughed and went to sit next to him, but he grabbed me and pulled me onto him settling me on top of his lap instead of my original idea, and of course smirking when he had me just where he had wanted me.

"This is much better Princess" Daemon smiled looking at me

I kissed him as thing began to heat up it reminded me of what had happened the last time we were intimate so I pulled away

"You aren't going to leave again are you?" I asked he smiled at me softly

"No my love I am not" Daemon stated "not without you" He added as he showed me a box within a beautiful looking necklace I gave him a confused look

"I already have a necklace" I smiled at him holding up the chain around my neck he smirked at me

"This one is more" he hummed for a moment before continuing "intimate" he finished holding the necklace up out of the box it had a metal pendant on it, painted on was the colours of the Targaryen house I was shocked as I sat off his lap

He got onto one knee "I wanted to do this properly but Rhaenyra insisted she be here-" he was cut off by Rhaenyra barging into my room

"You began without me uncle!" Rhae shouted

"You knew?!" I asked laughing through happy tears expecting what was to come next

"I want to take you to wife" Daemon stated "not because of a certain annoying niece" he looked towards Rhaenyra who rolled her eyes and flicked her hair back "not because Viserys wishes it but because I adore you, Daphne" I couldn't help but smile "do you accept?" He asked sounding almost scared I looked to Rhae

"You know this still means we are to be friends forever?" I asked her she nodded before I turned back to Daemon "of course" I told him he quickly stood and spun me around laughing making myself and Rhae join him in a laugh

"Good because no one else is fitting of this" he stated as Rhaenyra undid my necklace Daemon kissed my neck before putting the necklace on me

"At least now we have something to celebrate" Rhae said "other than Daphne now we have her happiness which she finally has been given"

"Maybe the gods are beginning to like me" I stated smiling holding onto the pendant around my neck

Suddenly everything felt right nothing could go wrong?

I mean from stolen kisses what could go wrong?
