Gamophobia (fear of marriage) - in an arranged marriage
"WHAT?!" I screech, the sound echoing around the brightly lit living room. "I. AM NOT. DOING THIS." 3 men pop out of the shadows like I'm in some action movie. "LET ME GO!" I'm thrashing now, I can't let them take me. I won't let them take me.
Welp, it's too late now. While I've been lost in my own world, I've been brought to what looks like a wedding scene in one of those Hallmark movies. Sure, I've only seen one, but they're all the same, and it somehow looks exactly like it.
"Hello, you are..." He trails off. I just glare at him. I realize how heavy my breathing is.
