It was Y/N'a graduation day, and nervous was just an understatement to how she was feeling at the moment, and it wasn't because she had stage fright.

Two nights ago, you and Kai got into an argument. You guys always had arguments, but this one was not like an argument you've ever had before. It was never like Kai to get drunk, but he did earlier that night, after hanging out with some friends. He was stressed about everything going on because it was affecting him physically and mentally. He didn't know how to handle it, so his resort was to drink his problems away.

Knowing what one time of drinking your problems away, leads to, you were upset because you've seen it happen too many times to your aunt, whom is now in rehab. Y/N tried to reason with him and help him see the issue (while he was still drunk out of his mind), and he said some hurtful things, that he didn't mean, but in that moment he did. This resulted in an argument, and you haven't talked to each other since then.

Nobody knew, because you wanted to try to deal with it on your own but it was hard. Lots of people around you noticed you weren't yourself, but you kept brushing it off as nervousness because of the upcoming graduation.

Now here you were, standing in the mirror trying to push your emotions to the side and be proud of yourself. You made it this far to accomplish your dream. But deep down, you couldn't help but want to be around Kai and hold his hand, and him assure everything would go okay, but you didn't even know if he'd still show up to the graduation. A knock on the bathroom door interrupted your thoughts.

"Y/N honey, it's time to go. We have to leave now to get you to the venue in time." Your mom said.

"Okay coming!" You said. You double checked that your makeup looked okay, and grabbed your phone off the charger. The click clacking of your heels grabbed your parents attention and they smiled in awe.

"My baby!!" Your dad said fake crying make you laugh.

"Dad stop." You said pulling him and your mom into a hug. After you guy's moment, you all got in the car and headed to the graduation.

At the Venue

Your row had just been called up to walk towards the stage. You could feel your heartbeat pounding, and you started to get nervous. Looking around for your family/friends, you didn't spot them at first. When you did, you smiled seeing how happy they looked. But someone caught your eye, it was Kai. He actually showed up and that somewhat made you feel better, but you were still upset about the other night. You smiled to yourself as you moved when the line did. You were next up and you put the biggest smile on your face.

"Y/N, L/N" You walked across the stage dancing a little and waving at your family as they screamed as loud as they could. Grabbing your diploma, you shook hands with the Dean, and walked off. You finally did it, and were the happiest you've ever been.

After Graduation

You found your family/friends and they were so excited. You took pictures with everyone, but decided to wait to take pictures with him last. After 10 minutes of taking pictures, you went over to him and he pulled a bouquet of flowers from behind his back making you smile.

"Thank you Ginnie." You said smiling kissing his cheek, while Heaven was snapping pictures. You both turned for the pictures and smiled. After you finished taking pictures with Kai, you both noticed everyone was engulfed in their own conversations, so you took matters into your own hands to spark up a conversation.

"I honestly thought you weren't going to come." You spoke barely above a whisper.

"Of course I would come Y/N. I wasn't going to let our argument stop me from coming here to support you. I Love You too much to let a argument stop me from supporting you. And I'm sorry for what I said, I meant none of it. I promise I'll never get sloppy drunk again, I didn't mean to hurt you." He said making you smile and tear up. He pulled you into a hug and rubbed your back.

"I love you too Kai." You said hugging him back smiling.
