After Benny left because he was grounded and he had to get back before his mom noticed he was gone I went to make lunch.

I didn't normally eat lunch but I figured there was nothing to do so I'd make something. I looked around in the covered, pulling out a box of macaroni I thought about the girl I fought in the bathroom. How she started it and didn't get in trouble. She deserved getting hit, is what I told myself. Did she really though? A part of me felt like she didn't deserve all of it. Maybe a good smack in the face but I really messed her up.

Lunch was good and I was now sitting on the couch watching tv when 6pm rolled around. The door opened I looked over to see my mom. I had completely forgotten about what happened.

"Your home." I spoke standing up getting ready for the questions.

"Where were you last night?" She asked after putting down her purse.

I looked down remembering the restless night I had. "Outside."

"Well what do you want for dinner? Your choice." She smiled that sweet loving mother smile.

My moms truly an angel. You could say or do the most harmful things to her and she'll still forgive you. But if you ruin or hurt the things she loves she can be pretty scary.

Like this one time back in 5th grade I was throwing a ball around in the room when I knocked into a tiny table shattering her favorite vase. I didn't see the light for 3 whole days.

"How about we order fried chicken." I said following her to the kitchen.
                            .   .   .
I sat at my desk looking up my classes assignments on my pc.

Mom was down stairs reading a magazine about the towns first hockey game of the season this Saturday so she shouted out the event. "Y/n! Did you wanna take your friends to the hockey game this week?!"

I quickly jumped up running out my room down stairs and to her side. Peering over her shoulder I smiled. "Yeah that seems like a lot of fun."

"I bet it would be. We haven't had a hockey game since 1868" she said sipping her coffee.

I nodded taking a seat at the table infront of her. "Mom." She looked up at me waiting for the words to spit out.

"Please forgive me. I'm really sorry for lashing out on you the other day in the car. I didn't mean too-" she cut me off by waking the magazine lightly on my face.

"Don't worry about it." She smiled and I returned the gesture. I made my way outside with a book. I had to study, I wasn't going to be in class but I couldn't just sit back and watch my grades drop.

I made my way across the street head completely lost in the social studies book on the lives of the nurses in world war ll.

I made it to Mrs. Rodriquez's front door. The only time I peeked my head up from out of the words in the thin papers was to talk to Rodriquez herself.  "Y/n! What a pleasure to see you again!" She smiled in glee bringing me in for a hug. She gave me a squeeze and she invited me in.

The Rodriquez's home. The smell of chocolate chip cookies hit me like a wave of delicious smells. "You must be looking for Benny. He's upstairs." I nodded and gave her a smile.

"Thankyou mrs. Rodriquez!" I headed upstairs after she made her way back to the kitchen. I reached bennys door at the end of the hall and opened it to see Benny in a deep sleep.
I tip toed inside shutting the door. The room was dimmed with the blinds shutting out all light, the only source of light was coming from a little night light plugged into his outlet.

Approaching his bed I placed my book on his nightstand before studying his features. Not like I haven't before...

His dark eyebrows, golden skin and silky black hair. I stood there watching him sleep before I heard him speak.
