Just Get Lost. I'm Going Home.

The birds chirped in the distance as I woke up with a heavy headache. 'Ughhh..' I groaned as I got up pushing the covers off me.

 I got out of bed and went down to the kitchen searching for medicine in the large medicine cabinet above our sink.

"What are you doing sweetie?" I heard my mom say from behind me. Before turning around I heard a knock at the door. Hmm.. Wonder who it is. I thought finally finding the medicine. 

Ugh, finally. I opened the bottle pulling out a pill and plopping it into my mouth swallowing it down with water.

"Y/n!!! Benny's here for you~" I heard my mom wail from the entrance.  My eyes widened in shock as I looked at a tiny magnetic mirror on our fridge.

 My hair was all a mess and I was still wearing my pj's. Not to mention I hadn't brushed my teeth yet. I heard the door shut and footsteps approaching.

 I panicked not wanting anyone to see me like this and hid under the dining table. "She's in here-" My mom paused in confusion. "Y/n?" She asked looking around. 

I heard Benny chuckle and watched as his feet approached the table. He all of a sudden bent down to his knee's taking a peek at me.

 I quickly hid my face in my hands, "You can't stay down there forever you know."

 I sighed and uncovered my face "I know. But you could've atleast given me a heads up or something that you were coming over today."

 He laughed and reached out for my hand. I grabbed his hand allowing him to help me up. 

Once I got to my feet I saw my mom with a wide smirk. "Mom, you better not say anything. We're just friends how many times do I have to say this." Benny shook his head with a smile, "Okay, okay. But I'm not so sure that statement is gonna last long." She said before taking off with her keys and heading out the door.

"Mom!" I whined before hearing the door shut. Benny walked to the counter hoping on top of it. "I'll wait." He said with a grin. 

"For what?" I asked, curiosity taking over me. Benny looked me up and down and chuckled. I scoffed, "So you think I look bad?"

We both laughed and I left jogging over to the stairs which led to my bedroom. I opened the door shutting it behind me and heading for the restroom.

 I quickly brushed my teeth and hair and walked out. I walked over to my dresser and picked out tan baggy jeans and a white tank top.

 I slipped on my clothes and threw on a checkered white and black belt. I slipped on white converse and headed out the room after applying deodorant and perfume.

I quickly jogged down stairs to see Benny in the living room smiling at a picture of a younger version of me and my father. "What are you doing?" I asked startling him. 

Benny quickly turned his attention to me and responded "Nothing. I was just-" I laughed at his shyness and walked over to him wrapping my arm around his shoulders. 

"So where we goin today Mr. Rodriquez?" I asked with my arm still around his shoulders with the two of us walking out the door. 

I squinted at the sun hitting my face, Benny closed the door and responded "We're going to go meet up with the rest of the dudes."

 I smiled and removed my arm. "Sounds fun." He smiled when suddenly my heart sunk. I stopped mid step and stared at the floor. 

Benny quickly noticed and stopped walking over to me placing his hands on my shoulders. He stood in front of me and looked me in the eyes asking, "I've already talked to Yeah-yeah about it. He feels really bad about it and is sorry. He told me to tell you if you don't feel like dating him anymore you don't have to."
