2 days later...

"Matt please don't go!!!" I whined tightening my hug. 

"I'll visit again y/n, I'm not leaving forever." He laughed hugging me back tighter.

I smiled and pulled away from the hug. "Alright, but you have to text me everyday." I smiled.

"Will do-" He said before getting interrupted, "Oh! And you have to call me once every week." 

With that we pinky promised and finished our goodbyes, Matt left with a smile. 

I watched as he closed my front door and walked over to the kitchen. I pulled out a cereal box and poured myself breakfast. 

Wait- Do we still have milk? I ran over to the fridge and opened it. Oh, thank the heavens!  We didn't run out of milk. I opened the milk and poured it into the bowl. After putting away the milk and setting the bowl on the table, I began to eat.

As I took a bite I heard footsteps coming from the stairs. I looked over at the stairs and saw my mom. "Hey mom!" I yelled with a loving smile.

"Hey baby!" She came over to me and kissed my forehead. She walked over to the kitchen and started making a coffee.

"Going to work?" I asked already knowing her response. "Yes?" She responded confused. I giggled taking another bite. 

"Going to the sandlot?" She asked giving a smirk. We both laughed. 

                                                                       AT THE SANDLOT

"Hey guys!" I yelled waving my glove at the boys. They were all sitting down in the dugout drinking water and pop. They greeted me as I put down all my stuff. 

"Tell her." Squints whispered to Yeah-yeah. Squints clearly wanted me to hear cause he was staring directly at me. 

Yeah-yeah looked down at his feet. Squints, Tommy and Timmy started giggling and nodding at Yeah-yeah. Benny finally made it to the sandlot.

Yeah-yeah took a seat next to me and began, "y/n..."

I smiled at him and nodded, "What's up?" 

"Hey!" Benny yelled finally making it to the dugout. He placed down all his stuff and gave fist bumps to each of the boys. He walked over to me and yeah-yeah, "What's up Yeah-yeah? You look nervous or somethin, anything happen?" He held his fist out to Yeah-yeah, Yeah-yeah clashed his fist with Benny's. Benny then walked over to me with a smile.

"Nothing happened..... yet." Yeah-yeah said looking down at his black converse. Benny gave me a fist bump before sending a wink before looking back at Yeah-yeah.

"What do you mean not yet?" Benny said sitting on the other side of Yeah-yeah with a confused face. Yeah-yeah shook his head and looked down.

"Yeah-yeah wants to tell y/n something." They all started Ooing. Benny rose an eyebrow at Yeah-yeah and looked over at me. 

I shrugged my shoulders to let him no I hadn't had a clue what they were talking about. Yeah-yeah started speaking, "y/n..." I didn't know what he was so nervous about, I looked down at his fidgeting fingers. 

why's he nervous? He better not have stole something of mine! Wait... please don't say he-

"I like you." Yeah-yeah blurted out. My eye's widened with shock, I could not believe he just said that. I was hoping that be the last thing he'd say.

My heart sunk, I looked at Yeah-yeah who had a nervous smile on his face. I- I didn't like Yeah-yeah that way. 

Should I tell him the truth or play along? I looked behind Yeah-yeah and saw the other boys with happy faces giggling. I looked at Benny, his face was shocked.
