First day of school

A week later...

Buzzz, Buzzz, Buzzz

I reached over and practically smacked the turn off button of my alarm. I couldn't believe it had been school already. I got up and wiped my eyes knowing today was going to be a hard day, I walked over to my bathroom and got ready. After I brushed my teeth and took a shower I got changed into this:

I was about to head over to make my bed when I smelt bacon. Mmm~ I absolutely loved bacon and eggs, mom probably knowing this made it for my first day. I ran down stairs when I herd giggling. I slowed down and reached around the corner seeing DeNunez, Benny, Bertram, and Ham. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked approaching them.

"We came to see how you were feeling about your first day to school in this town." DeNunez said while holding onto his backpack straps. Ham placed his hand on DeNunez's shoulder and added in "And to walk you on your first day." I smiled, for once in a long time I felt very loved.

"Aww thank you guys." I reached in and gave them all a hug. My mom giggled as I heard plates being set down on the table. I let go from the hug and ran over to the table digging into the Bacon, eggs, and toast.

"Doesn't hurt to have a bit right boys?" She asked placing several more plates down. The boys all licked their lips and sat down around the circular table.

10 minutes later...

We all goofed around and the boys actually gave me pretty good advice since they all knew most of the people who would be at my school. School wasn't that far away to be honest, we had reached the gates within 12 minutes.

"This is it." I said standing in front of the gates watching as all the kids walked in with their cliques. Benny placed a hand on my shoulder and nodded at me with a grin. I reassured myself that it was just school and I'd make friends in no time.

We walked in together and I felt all the eyes laid on me. I saw the girls would stare at Benny with 'aw' in their eyes and than they'd suddenly turn to me with disgust. I looked down at my shoe laces which needed to be tied again.

I felt arms wrap around my shoulders and I looked up giving a sincere smile towards Ham. Ham was that one funny friend you never thought you needed. He always made me feel better when I got nervous. "They're just jealous cause Your walking with us." He shrugged his eyebrows, I laughed. "Uh, sure I totally believe that."

Ham and the two other boys laughed as we entered the school. As soon as we walked in the building we waited in a line for like 10 minutes to get our schedules. Once I received mine I joined the boys off to the side, "What classes do you guys have." Bertram asked us.

My first class I have one with DeNunez. My second class I'm alone, my third period I'm with Benny, fifth I'm with Bertrum and Ham, My last period I'm by myself.

"Eh, that's not that bad." I sigh in relief, as we all figured out who had classes with who. I was scared I would be alone in all my classes. "See? Told you, you wouldn't be alone." Benny said patting my head with a soft smile. I grinned and as I was about to say something when I heard a snotty girls voice yell Benny's name out.

"Benny!" A girl with checkered vans, a black backpack, hot pink cropped top and booty shorts approached us. I turned around and immediately felt like leaving.

"Oh boy." Ham sighed looking down at the floor. I pressed my eyebrows together, "Who is she?" I asked looking back at her noticing she was moving at a quicker pace.

"She's been following Benny around for ages. He's rejected her several times, she just doesn't take no for an answer." Bertram emphasis's the 'no' out loud so the girl can hear it.

She stopped right in front of Benny twirling her blonde hair with her finger and chewing her gum innoxiously. "So Benny, how was your summer? Do anything fun?"

She leaned in closer. I could tell Benny was uncomfortable cause the moment she did that he took an immediate step back. "Uh, yeah... I had fun."

"That's cool, I had fun too. You know I texted you everyday of the summer asking if you wanted to hang out but you never responded."

She paused her chewing in squinted her eyes at him vigorously, "Why is that?"

"Okay, okay I think that's enough for today." I declared raising my hands up. I cut in between the two taking Benny's wrist and walking towards the lockers. Once we got out of her sight I sighed letting go of his wrist and turning around.

The three other boys had followed Benny and I and were right there with us. "Wow, that was brave." He said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and responded, "You've got to do what you've got to do. Especially if they don't get it." He nodded and so did the others.

"Let's get to class" Bertram said to Benny. "Alright." He turned back to me and patted my shoulder, "goodluck." I smiled and watched him walk away with Ham. "I'm off. Bye guys!" Bertram waved.

All that was left was me and DeNunez. "C'mon let's get to our class before the bell rings." He said walking across the hall. I followed and we entered our class, I walked in and immediately felt my stomach drop. Cause right In the back of the classroom sitting in a seat was Phillip's.

DeNumez could tell something was off when he realized right away. "Hey, it's fine. We'll be good." He took my arm and we searched for seats. "You kids. We heard a deep mans voice call out to us. We turned around and saw the teacher using his finger to direct us to come over to him. We looked at eavither in curiosity and walked over to the old short man. "You have assigned seats." He said pushing up his glasses tracing his finger down the paper on his clip board. "Names." He said looking up at us. "DeNunez." The man slid his finger down the chart and tapped the chart at his name. The man looked up and over at desks taking his finger pointing to a seat in the middle row. "Right there young man." DeNunez smiled slightly and looked at me mouthing the words 'goodluck'. He turned around and walked to his seat taking a seat between a bunch of girls. "You?" The old man asked. Me what?" I responded quickly before quickly realizing what he meant. Right- sorry. L/n" I heard small giggles coming from the class behind me. Once again the old man slid his finger down the paper in search for my name when stopping. "Tight un that back seat miss." I turned around and my mouth dropped in shock. I turned around and asked "Sir, I'm very sorry but-" I said before getting interrupted. "Get going I've got a class to teach. He said and then turned around walking to his desk.

I turned around and looked down at my seat which was right in front of Phillip's. I looked at Phillip's who had a small smirk on his face. I looked at DeNunez who had a worried look on his face.

I sighed and walked hesitantly towards my seat. Once I reached my seat I sat in the seat plopping my backpack by the side of me.

30 minutes pass and I'm getting quite comfortable in the seat thinking it wasn't that bad when I felt someone tap my shoulder from behind.

I turned around to soon remember who was sitting behind me. I scrunched my eyebrows together in confusion. "So how's it with Mr.Lover boy?" He asked witha smirk.

"He's not my lover boy... he's my friend." I turned around hoping to end that conversation. "Still playin baseball?" I turned around and gave a confused face. "Still play? Pshh... played and always will." I looked him up and down and gave a smirk.

I wasnt gonna let Phillip's walk all over me. He nodded and leaned back in his seat, before he could say any more the teacher announced the class was dismissed. Immediately DeNunez ran over to me and dragged me out of the class room.
