20. Idaho

20 9 2

I want to feel your soul move me to my knees and make me shiver
Slither down my arm with a touch so gentle

It never stormed like this in Idaho

Break me down to my bones and watch me rattle
Moving into your comfort zone and into mine

I never breathed like this in Idaho

I want to see how your fingers ache as they attack my hunger
Cracking a million ways but only for passion

It never hurt like this in Idaho

Send me down the spiral of love and half-prepared worry
Learning to embrace what only hell could try to handle

I'll never go back to Idaho
