I'd rather you died while we were still in love
Instead I'm heartsick on a bus ride to New Jersey
Feeling like I've wasted the four years I gave you
I treated you as though you were the only thing to live for
Why was I never treated the same?I'd rather you died while we were still in love
Because I wouldn't have to live angry at you
For not believing that I truly deserved to be treated
Like a queen upon a throne built from love and effort
What did I do wrong? You say nothing.
I did nothing wrong.
So how come it's over?
