Acts 22:16 ESV
And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.
I had thought about baptism a few months ago and had told a few people but I'd only been a Christian for a few months so had them decided to leave it because I didn't feel ready. I decided to wait until I felt like I was mature enough in my faith, almost like I wanted to be older in my faith and grow in my faith more before I took that big leap. So, I waited. Then, a few days ago I was thinking about it again. I did a few baptism plans on the YouVersion Bible App and saw this. Why do you wait? Why do I wait? What was I waiting for? I am head over heels in love with Jesus! What am I waiting for? So, I decided that I am going to get baptised! God speaks through His word and He's done it to me, He can do it to you! So dive into His word today. Dive into Him! Read a chapter or the Bible or do a devotion but remember that if you keep worshiping out Father, He will keep blessing you! This Weekly Bible Verse was a bit different but I felt like I should share this! ❤️
