Daily Bible Verse 15th August 2022
Today, we are reading 1 John 1:7
But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with eachother, and the blood of Jesus, His son, cleansed us from all sin.
God is love. God is good. God is light. When we are living in God and through God, then we have a connection to God. We are His child, meaning we are also sisters and brothers of other children of God and followers of Christ. And when Jesus died for our sins, we were cleansed meaning God can now forgive us. Everytime I remember what God did for us, I am in utter disbelief. God gave His son to die so we could live forever with Him (John 3:16). This only screams one word to me. Love. Love. Love.
