chapter 9- "Hehehe"

Two got off his horse and grabbed a couple bags. I was very confused on what he was doing.

"We're gonna call it a night. " he whispered.

"What! We're gonna sleep here?" I yelled. Is he insane?

"Shh! We need to be quiet she might hear! I thought we would have more time Four, but the horses are getting tired they need to rest so we can run in a emergency plus it's getting late anyway." Two explained. He was right me and X's horse was getting pretty tired.

"Here's your tent. Try to get some sleep." Two said handing the tent to X.

Me and X set up our tent while Two set up his.

"Hey, I'm gonna keep a lookout while you two try and relax." Two said once he was finished his tent.

''Relax?' How could anyone relax? I thought to myself laying in the tent. I turned around and tried to sleep so I could get out of here faster I tried to sleep for 30 minutes failing to do so due to our situation. Every sound I heard and shadow I saw from outside the tent terrified me. I couldn't help but wonder what I'm doing here. I should be back home tending to my kingdom not here; I want to go home I felt tears fall down my face as I tried to keep my sobs quiet.

I felt a hand on my soldier that made me jump and almost scream.

"Your maj- Four are you alright? I heard you crying. " X whispered he's voice trembling.

I shoke my head 'no' too scared to speak.

X paused then looked around. He grabbed a small bag and pulled a bottle out of it.

"Here, try to calm down." X said handing me the bottle.

I took a sip of the drink it tasted like orange juice.

X looked at me while fidgeting with his fingers not knowing what to say.

"Let me tell you a story." X whispered.

I gave X a confused face.

"It might help you sleep if you let me." He explained.

I stared at him "...okay." I whisperd.

"Alright! So once there was a king and...um a star princess! The star princess would create beautiful works of art in the night sky adding spots and speckles wherever she could as well as making pictures with these dots. the king loved her works of art and soon feel in love with her and her talent-"

I Inturopted X " Can the princess be a prince?" I asked.

"Alright. The king feel in love with the prince and wanted to see him all the time but he and his art could only be seen at night."

X attempted to make a deep but still quiet voice. "'My prince is there a way to see your masterpieces all the time?' The king asked the prince."

'"Yes, but only my true love can. Anyone who ever had, turned into a moon.' The prince answered. "

"The king really did truly love the prince, so he told the prince how he felt. Star prince, I really love you.'"

"The king then turned into the moon and was able to always be with the one he loved and the stars. The end." X said finishing his story.

I really enjoyed x's story and I couldn't help but to imagine myself in the story but there was one thing that I did't understand. How is it that X is able to tell a whole story when he was shaking the whole way here?

"Hey X, are you not scared?" I asked him.

X paused "I'm just as scared as you Four." He whispered.

"T-then how were you able to do that, help me out without being petrified." I responded

"There was something wrong with you. After all you've done for me I couldn't let you just be terrorized all night plus I thought helping you would help me get out of my head with 'what if's'. X answered.

I felt my face heat up." Thank you x." I said.

I leaned over to give X a hug and layed down with him still in my arms.

"Is it okay if we stay like this?" I asked him my face burning.

X smiled "of course!"

I layed down with X my face was hot and that feeling in my stomach was back... Wait is this what butterfly's feel like? I held x tighter and looked at him. Do... Do I have a crush on X? Don't you have butterflies when you like someone? No, that's silly I barely know him and after we get his yole barriers he will be gone... Forever... But for now one of the kindest people I've ever met is here in my arms and I don't want anyone to ruin this.

I finally got comfortable when I notice it seemed like the world got darker. Something felt ...wrong. I went completely still out of fear. I didn't know if I should go outside to check if everything was okay or not. After some hesitation I decided to leave the tent. Right before I left I heard a giggle

"Hehehe" it echoed

"Hahaha" it said again

That's when I heard a grunt from Two. I was worried so I poked my head out the tent To see Two on on the ground makeing a forcefield to keep Evil Leafy away

"Two!" I yelled.

"Ah, Four no!" He responded.

Evil leafy looked at me before Dissapearing I was confused on what happened when I heard Two yell.

"Four behind you!"

Evil leafy grabbed my wrist and tried to pull me to her. I tried pulling away remembering all the stories I was told about her. She'll eat anything that moves including me. Her grip was too strong I couldn't get out of her hands. That's when a rock flew into evil leafys face she yelled in pain and let go of me. I looked at Two who threw the rock.

"Four run take multiplication sign and run! Two yelled.

"but what about you Two?!" I yelled back.

"Four please!" Two yelled.

I went into the tent x was asleep I shook x up "x we got to go!"

I grabbed x by the hand and started running away with him.
