Olivia and Margaret flew Steven over to the enemy base Olivia and Steven's soldier friend was in, sending him on his way to rescue the captured soldiers there by himself.
He could have gotten himself killed, for Allfather's sake!
And yet somehow... somehow he didn't. He made it, and he succeeded.
He came back with a very large majority of the men that were captured, including his one Sargent Barnes.
"Someone make sure nurse Liv is there helping!" I heard the Colonel yell from where the start of the lineup of soldiers were.
"I'm here, I'm here. There's no need to shout." I grumbled, helping a man with a broken arm.
"You're here. Good." I rolled my eyes at the Colonel's very obtuse observation. "Glad to see you're being put to work."
"Do you doubt me and my work so much, Colonel?" I said, finishing with the soldier in front of me and motioning for another one to be sent my way.
"Of course not. We all know you have the magic touch when it comes to these things."
I rolled my eyes, getting to work on the next soldier.
It was going to be a long night.
