The group had been walking for an hour, and every step they took the tunnel seemed to get longer. At one point Mia turned to look behind them, the elevator had practically disappeared. None of them had shared a word, they where too focused on looking for doorways or tunnels turning off;

"I mean, you have to admit, as a feat of engineering alone, this is impressive." Dustin broke the silence, his voice echoing making Mia slightly jump towards Stiles,

"What are you talking about? It's a total fire hazard. there's no stairs, there's no exit, there's just an elevator that drops you halfway to hell" Steve replied,

"They're commies, they aren't exactly going to plaster 'exit this way!' posters all over the place, they just want something to take them and their shit from point A to point B... and they seem to prefer it without planning permission, thus... no need for fire safety" Mia shrugged looking up at the sailor boy who was practically glaring down at her "Oh come on Popeye, it makes sense"

Erica pushed her body in front of Steve's so she could nod at Mia, completely agreeing "Yeah, you don't pay people, they cut corners."

"To be fair to our Russian comrades, I don't think this tunnel was designed for walking. I mean think about it, they developed the perfect system for transporting cargo" Robin added on,

"It all comes into the mall like any old delivery," Stiles joined,

"And then they load it up onto those trucks and nobody's the wiser."

"You think they built this whole mall just so they could transport that green poison?" Steve asked, as Dustin immediately shook his head,

"I very seriously doubt it's something as boring as poison. It's gotta be much more valuable. like promethium or something." He announced, shrugging as he looked over at Mia,

"What the hell is promethium?"

"It's what Victor Stone's dad used to make cyborg's bionic and cybernetic components" Mia replied nonchalantly as if it where something everyone should know,

"You're all so nerdy, it makes me physically ill" Erica held her stomach and gagged. Though her words made Stiles and Steve's faces completely shrivel,

"Uh no, absolutely not" Stiles shook his head,

"No, no, no. No, don't lump me in with them" Steve waved his hands at Dustin, Mia and Robin, "I'm-" He sighed and held Stiles' shoulder "We're not nerds, all right?"

"Why so sensitive, Harrington?" Robin smirked,

"Yeah, are you guys afraid of losing cool points to a ten-year-old child?" Mia mocked, laughing,

"No, nope..  We are just saying that we don't know jack shit about Prometheus." Stiles shook his head

"Promethium. Prometheus is a Greek mythological figure, but whatever. All I'm saying is, it's probably being used to make something." Dustin finished his earlier point,

"Or power something" Mia added on,

"Like a nuclear weapon?"

"Totally," Robin nodded,

Steve defeatedly held his hands up "Walking towards a nuclear weapon. That's great. That'd be great."

"But if they're building something, why here? I mean, Hawkins. Seriously. Of all places. At the very best we're the toilet stop on your way to Disneyworld--" robin ranted, Erica and Stiles following her closely, agreeing with her every word. But the other three hung back and shared one concerned look,

"You think the Russians know? About uh--" Steve asked as they gathered closer, trying to keep their voices down,

"They could" Dustin shrugged,
