Set in the early 18th century during the Golden Age of Piracy, Johnathan Vayne is a 29 year old ex-pirate who has settled down in the city of London with his wife and daughter. His life is secure and luxurious, up until an old enemy suddenly comes barging into his house, threatening to kill and kidnap for revenge and retribution. Ol' Johnny's life is turned completely upside down as he attempts to drink away his sorrows all the while doing his best to search for clues to the whereabouts of his family and their perpetrator. That is, until, he is told of a town far away in Cuba in which a notorious pirate who is described to look almost exactly like the man who took his family has been spotted. Follow the life of Johnathan Vayne as his quest and resolve to find his family and exact vengeance upon his enemy threatens to change his entire demeanour and outlook on life itself. Through progression and experience, Johnny discovers himself changing as a person entirely, from a gentle and honest man, to an anger-driven, highly volatile, and dangerously skilled killer with almost unlimited potential, who will stop at nothing to reach his goal. Will Johnny be able to rescue his family in time? Or will he lose himself along the way and cast aside all that is precious to him, embracing his formerly dormant killer-instinct and deeply hidden desires? Here I was born and raised ,in the city which is notorious for the highest crime rates and death tolls. A city in eternal chaos. Love... an intense feeling of deep affection. There is some traces of love in the city. It is the one emotion that is hard to feel around here. No on trusts anyone, but how can you build a relationship without trust. Everything we do for someone is because of love but theres a reason for why all of Gothams inhabitants are selfish. When we were young we read fairytales of damsels in distress and the prince who swept her off her feet. "Love conquers all" they said. Maybe it true, but it just doesnt happen like that here. Love is a word that gives the people of Gotham hope. It means more than it's six letter Oxford definition. Fear is the word that crushes all of us Gothamites, it makes us believe we have no chance of love. That we either control everyone through fear or live ruled by it. These words are the most important aspects of Gotham. To me Gotham is just a war of Fear vs. Love...

Evie was in the town one day when she found a little girl running in the markets of Cairo. She had stolen a loaf of bread from the food stand and the man trying to catch her was coming fast and being a clever and kind woman she said, "Sorry for my niece, she tends to wander and I told her we were looking for bread to take home. I had not given her money and she was looking for me." The man not questioning what amount of money she gave him, which wasn't much, let the child go and gave them the loaf. "What's your name little one?", she asked. At first the little girl was quite surprised, many would've let her get beaten for being caught stealing. Shyly she said, "My name is Zia." Soon the sun began to set and the breath of his mother became more faint, she pleaded her brother to take in her son and he agreed without hesitation. With her last breaths she said goodbye to her son, telling him that both his parents will be watching over him, to be a good boy, and to listen to his uncle. When her hand fell limp and cold Ardeth took his nephew in his arms as they grieved for the loss of a sister, the loss of a mother. With silent tears running down his face he vowed, "I shall watch over you, Akil, in the name of your mother and in the name of Allah."
