Glynda: You can come by for tea and cakes tomorrow afternoon, around 2:00 ish.

Ana: We'll be there, bye.

Glynda: Bye.

Glynda hangs up and then goes to YN's study.

Glynda: Honey, my parents are coming for tea.

YN: (puts down paperwork) Wonderful, when?

Glynda: 2:00 tomorrow.

YN: Well, it'd be nice to have more time to have the place cleaned.

Glynda: It's already spotless though?

YN: If a problem can be found, an in law will find it.

Glynda, we'll just get some cakes, some teas, everything will be fine. (Notices YN texting someone)

Glynda: Hm?

YN: Oh, I'm just texting Coco and Velvet to iron and clean their maid uniforms and to get the cakes and teas. Should I go with my dress uniform or my tweed suit?

Glynda: I think that your tweed suit should do the trick.

YN: Alright, but for our wedding, I am going to be wearing my full dress uniform.

Glynda: You'll look like a fairytale prince then.

YN then gives Glynda a kiss and goes to prepare for meeting Glynda's parents. And while YN prepares himself, Coco and Velvet clean the house and get the necessary refreshments.

Time skip to 1:58 the next day.

YN is pacing around the room while Glynda is sitting calmly.

Glynda: I don't get why you are so worried, they're just my parents.

YN: That's exactly it, they are your parents, you don't have anything to prove to them, I do.

At that moment they hear a gentle ringing.

Coco and Velvet then open the front door and welcome Peter and Ana, they then set their bags to the side and escort them to the eastern tea room.

Peter & Ana: Glynda, how have you been!

Glynda: We spoke on the phone yesterday, you know how I'm doing.

Ana: Fair.

Peter: But she could have changed between now and then.

Glynda: Don't worry dad, I'm still doing well.

Peter: And you must be YN.

YN: (stands up) It's a pleasure to meet you sir, I hope your journey wasn't too arduous.

Peter: It was quite nice, there was no traffic on the way in.

YN: How fortunate, it has the tendency to be busy.

Ana: So YN, what do you do for a living?

YN: (pours tea for everyone) I am a teacher at Beacon, but I also do work with a bank and I have a ranch out in the country.

Peter: Wonderful, I'm a smallholder myself, what size is your ranch?

YN: Fifteen.

Peter: Fifteen acres isn't bad for a start, the Goodwitch property is around fifty. (Sips tea)

YN: I'm sorry, I wasn't clear, fifteen thousand. (Sips tea)

This revelation causes Peter to almost choke on his tea.

Peter: Well, I, I see that you at least have the financial ability to look after our daughter.

Ana: But now for the moral ability, what do you teach at Beacon?

YN: Officer candidacy and training, it is the teaching of students in tactics, civility, and just generally how to behave as an officer.

Peter: Like a police officer?

YN: What has Glynda told the two of you about my past?

Ana: Nothing much.

YN: Well, I am one thousand and ninety three years old, one thousand and seventy five of those years I spent in military service as an officer. I have served all over remnant, and in every major conflict since the war for Vale. I have also had the pleasure in serving in most all of the branches of service.

Peter: But Glynda told us that you were a surgeon.

YN: I was, for a couple of years I was a surgeon at a military hospital, so yes, I was a surgeon.

Ana: you were a surgeon for only a couple of years?

YN: While my leg healed, I was shot in the leg and there was muscle blowout, so for the few years while my leg healed, I studied medicine and became a surgeon.

Ana: So, you are a one thousand year old soldier, who is surprisingly well learned, wealthy, and cultured, why do you want to marry our daughter?

Glynda: MOM!

YN: She makes me happy, genuinely happy. And not the normal happy, the warm and fuzzy happy, the sort of happy that makes me want to protect the source of that happiness. I believe that feeling is called love. I love your daughter, and I honestly don't think I could go back to my life before her.

Peter: So you genuinely love her.

YN: With all my heart and soul.

Ana: Then you have our blessing, we'd be honored to be your in-laws.

YN: Thank you, you have eased a burden from my shoulders.

And with that, the four then start on lighter conversations and on the cakes. And when the night gets long, Peter and Ana are shown to their room. And Glynda and YN go to theirs.
