Hiya *waves*

Thank you for waiting for 9 months for me!

Life was going on and this one became a passenger princess.

I have been trying to upload this chapter since last night but I am not sure if it's too long or for what other reason, l haven't been able to upload the whole thing.

Though the chapter is complete, this is the part that l could post. Uploading the rest in the next chapter. Not even sure if you all got the notification.

Nonetheless, here's the new chapter. Fair warning: Chapter 34, sneak peaks included, is a roka chapter as well as has some key moments for the development of the story so it's ala bit less Naina and Veer spending time together and lot more serious talks and family moments. However, the next to next one will have them together in tones.

Down you go!

Naina's POV
September 22, 2019
(Two hours before the ceremony)

Timelessness is an ethereal quality. Few things in life can boast of bearing such a stunning ministry. The sun, the moon, the rolling mountains, the gentle waves.... They have existed since time immemorial and will survive a legacy unparalleled. Their beauty is perennial, their strength is abiding, their voices are eternal. To be so ageless is to be as timeless.

You know what else is timeless?

Stupidity.

Eons have passed for humanity and they have yet to find a cure for the most common illness that possesses the most rational of people at the most random times.

Times like these.

"अर्ज किया है...."

"वाह वाह"

"हाजी अर्ज किया है...." Drawled Rohan from his seat on the couch of the hotel room. "जिंदगी के गम में कुछ इस तरह लीन हो गये,"

"वाह वाह" Raina and Sona sang. Even my stylists stopped to hear.

"जिंदगी के गम में कुछ इस तरह लीन हो गये,"
"पता ही नहीं चला, गोलगप्पे कब दस के तीन हो गये"

"Waaaaaaaahhhhhh kya baat, kya baat, dil jeet lie Jetha ji....." the dramatically awed occupants of the room lauded the overused shayari as if they were middle aged uncles at a mushayera.

I rolled my eyes, wishing to whoever was listening that mom would bust in anytime and drag these three idiots out to let me get ready in peace.

It was Aaryan's roka today. Everyone had gotten ready. I was the only one left to get dressed because l was busy making sure that everything was in place. Unfortunately this also meant that while Aaryan and Anjali were getting pampered by their respective families.... I was left with these three morons who had nothing better to do.

"Atleast be orginal Rohan," l muttered as the hairstylist finished pinning up my hair.

"No can do, sisi," Rohan said plopping his jutti clad feet on the table. "Using my original shayari would mean keeping constant calls to check on the swooning girls"
