Hiya *waves*

I had posted the sneak peak right before l took off and spent the ride to my hotel listening to all your suggestions. Safe to say quite a few of them will be featuring in this book.

Here is the rest of the chapter.

Naina's POV

"So, how was your launch-cum-mini honeymoon trip?" Aaryan asked with a smirk.

"Not even as remotely explicit as you are suggesting," I retorted as the car switched lanes.

He snorted. "Like l believe that. A man with an opportunity to get the woman he has been chasing alone, I bet you my samosa he lived at least half-a-dozen of his fantasies."

My cheeks heated. "Well, not really a dozen," I muttered.

Aaryan laughed. "Atleast some of them then? Get talking woman."

So I did. I told Aaryan about Veer meeting me at my hotel room, us having dinner, the spider's occurrence and how he took care of me. I told him about Veer telling me about his past but didn't say what he shared since it wasn't my story to tell. I told him about the BeBest's tricks and how Veer handled it.

I gave him a shortened version of how Veer proposed and the next day we spent together. I didn't mention all the kisses and make-outs we sneaked here and there since l was pretty sure that no one would have let me live it down.

"Oh!" I remembered suddenly. "And he also taught me to ride―"

"Him?"

My cheeks blasted. "No!" I cried out and Aaryan burst out laughing. "A bike, you damn idiot."

"You should have seen your face," he said. I punched him in the arm as he continued to howl in laughter. "I bet you wanted him to. Didn't you? The two of you alone in bed, bare limbs, making babies, tangled in shee―shit." Aaryan muttered as l hit him with my laptop bag.

"Ow! Naina stop it!" Aaryan raised his hands in surrender even as chuckles escaped him. Glaring at him, I huffed and turned my head away from him to sullenly stare out of the window.

"So.. you two are very seriously dating now?" He asked after a few beats of silence.

I crossed my arms and didn't reply. "I am happy for you, you know," he said softly making my anger melt. "I am also happy to see that the only guy who has been able to come this far with you is him."

I turned to him. "What do you mean?"

Aaryan shrugged. "Many have tried to be where he is but while some had the guts and the power to stand by you none had the will to do so."

"Everyone knows the Maurya heir rose like canon, fell like a stone and then rose again but none know why. If he had the will to tell you his story just for a mere chance of having you in his life, l personally think he doesn't need any test for us to know why he is worthy of you," Aaryan said making me smile. My heart melting further in gratefulness at the knowledge of how loved l was. They may be too annoying sometimes but atleast the―

"That said, just because we know he has done something worthy to arouse your devotion to him doesn't mean we are not going to put the two of you through torture." Aaryan grinned.

I rolled my eyes. There it was.

"But," Aaryan said in a serious tone. "l can get everyone to back off Veer on one condition."

I cocked an eyebrow at him curiously. Aaryan gave a mischievous grin. "Name the first child after me."
