Chapter 17

"Surprise." I chuckle out.

He pulls me in for a hug, "I knew there was something off about you and the morning sickness."

Everyone claps and gives congratulations. Now, my turn for gifts. I tear open the wrapper of the first. "The entire collection of (your favorite manga/book series). Well, I got me some reading to do." I then continue on to the next wrapped gift. I look to the next gift, taking notice that it was a photo album with moments with the students, Levi, Hange, and the rest of the group. At the end he write a message, "No matter what anyone tells you. You are a ray of sunshine. You have impacted many peoples lives for the better. I love you so much, and hope to have many more albums of many moments in our lives together. Thank you, love. It's amazing." I let a tear of happiness slip, running my hand over the album. On the next, or so you think, "Oh my. Tickets to the new astronomy museum. You know I love my astronomy." I pull Levi into a hug.

I look around to notice many people looking to Levi. 'I wonder why they are all looking to him.' I turn back to notice him now, down on one knee. "I was not so sure to this in front of everyone. (Y/n), you have been everything to me these past few months. Every time I see you my world gets lit up. I want to be able to wake up, or for you to wake up next to me for the rest of our days. Will do the honors of becoming my wife? Will you marry me?" He looks to me with a small smile.

I let the tears take over, falling to my knees I wrap arms around him hugging then close. "Yes, Levi. I will marry you." I pull away, giving him a passionate kiss.

Everyone claps, "Congratulations!" Hange exclaims running to give us a hug.

"Thank you, Hange." I chuckle out. Levi gives her a small smirk, "Tsk. Thanks four eyes."

Everyone says their congrats, giving us hugs and some handshakes to Levi.

"About damn time, Levi." Kenny laughs.

Ruby speaks, "You're officially going to be my niece and I have a great niece or nephew on the way."

After everyone picks up the mess in the living room, we head to the dining room to eat. I sit beside Levi. Kenny sits at one end of the table with Ruby in the seat next to him. Hange sits beside me, with Moblit next to her. Erwin sits at the other end with Paige in the seat next to him. Petra and Oruo take the last two seats.

"Thank you everyone for coming today. It is great being able to spend time with all of y'all. Not only is it Levi's birthday, it's also another special someone's birthday. So I would like to say grace thanking him for all he has done for this to happen."

We all bow our heads, joining hands. I say a prayer thanking God and Jesus for everything they had done, thanking them for gathering everyone today and for the food.

(A/n: Okay, religion ordeal ends here)

"(Y/n), this is great. I can't wait to try everything else." Petra complements me about the food.

Oruo gives a smile agreeing with her. "Thank you guys. Feel free to take some leftovers home." I give them a smile.

After everyone eats, we sit in the living room watching whatever Christmas movies that were playing. Two hours pass, eventually, everyone leaves.

"I'm glad they all took some food with them. Means less we have to stuff ourselves with later." I tell Levi, putting up the last of the leftovers.

He continues to wash dishes, answering, "Me too. I love your cooking, but I don't know if I could eat that type of food for a long period of time."

I walk up behind him placing my arms around him, laying my head on the back of his. "Today was great. Not only are we engaged, we have a little one on the way. I was so scared you were going to be mad about it."

He turns towards me, "A few years ago, with any other girl I might have been. You are different. I feel a connection with you I've never felt before. I was nervous to propose to you."

I let out a light chuckle, "Well, one thing's for sure. We need to prepare for a baby and a wedding. We've got a lot of planning ahead of us."

Once we clean up, we go to our room settling down. We turn on our television, letting the noise take us into our dreamlands.

A/N: Hi guys. Here's the next chapter. I don't really have much to say. I guess I could ask a question, though.

What got you into watching/reading AOT?

I was just bored one day, and stumbled upon it on Funimation. At first I didn't think I would like it, because it was so gruesome. I watched the first episode alone. About a week later, my fiancé got Covid. So, I was like hey maybe we could try watching it together. We started it, and I got hooked after the first few episodes. We watched almost all day every day for about a week. We got to the end of season 3, then took a break. We each watched season 4 separately. I'm still ahead of him, being that I'm waiting for part 3.

I honestly thought Levi was the main character, because so many talked about him. My first thoughts of him were not at all how I think of him now. At first I was a little iffy about him. With that being said, watching the anime to the point it is now, Armin and Levi are my favorites. I do like a more of the characters, but Levi and Armin have my heart.
