Chapter 4

I woke up in my bed underneath my cozy comforter. How did I get here? I felt Merlyn move at my side then Mocha was up in my lap licking my face. "Okay, Okay. I'm up. Levi must have put me here last night."

I walk to my kitchen I grab some apple juice from my refrigerator. As I'm taking gulps I look at my counter to see a note.

Last night was nice. I hope you didn't mind me carrying you to bed. I promise I didn't do anything weird. Text me later if you would like.

I smile, "He's so sweet."

I hear my phone ringing. I run to my room and answer it. Upon putting it to my ear I hear the excited screams of my crazy scientist friend.

"So, how was your date with shorty yesterday?!" She asks excitedly.

"How did you know about that? You spying on me?" I ask with a chuckle.

"Maybe I am. No, shorty mentioned it to me. Was it too awkward?" She talks in her excited tone still.

"No, not at all. We had a great evening over all." I stare as I make my way to the to turn cabinet to get some cereal. I just wanted something quick to eat.

"That's nice. Do you want to hang out today? I want to talk about the party." Hange asks me.

"Sure. I'm free. What time?" I ask.

"Be there soon." She hangs up.

I pour my cereal in a bowl then some milk. I start to eat while looking through some news on my phone. Nothing to crazy just the usual drama shit going on in the country.

As I'm washing up my dishes, I hear a knock at my door then it opens. Mocha barks at the sudden intrusion.

Then I hear my enthusiastic scientist friend. "Woah there."

I jog into the living room. "Mocha it's okay. This is one of mama's friends too. This is Hange. She's a little more outgoing than Levi."

Mocha sniffs her, then rubs his body against her calves. She then sits on the ground petting the corgi and rubbing his belly.

"Well, what did you have in mind to do?" I ask her.

She looks up and smiles, "Well I wanted to go look at the party supply store first. I also want to discuss some possible games, activities, food and such."

I sigh, "Okay."

She jumps up. "So I was thinking we could have like a board game or card game. We are gonna play truth and dare, 2 truths and a lie, do you have any suggestions for games? I also want to do a painting thing. We are gonna have an alcohol bar. What drinks do you like? Also, we are going to have dancing. All kinds of songs and...."

"Woah, Hange. Slow down." I say trying to process everything she says. "It looks like you've got it all planned out. You just need to get everything now. A good card game could possibly be poker... For a board game you could do battle of the sexes. Guys against girls."

She looks towards me the light shining over her glasses, she jumps in excitement. "Awesome. This is going to be so fun. Oh, I decided to have the party tonight I done told everyone except you and Levi."

Speak of the devil, I get a text. Levi's name pops up.

Levi: Good morning.

Me: Good morning. Wyd.

Levi: Cleaning a bit. Wyd.

Me: Getting ready to go with Hange to get stuff for the party. She decided it's going to be tonight.
