To Learn Of One Another Levi x reader

Chapter 6

2 month time skip

Levi and I have been dating for 2 months. It's been going fairly well. Every Saturday we would have an in home date night, unless we felt like going out. We've learned so much more about one another. He prefers to keep every thing about him low profile. He's a strict professor compared to myself. Everyone at the party is viewed as his family.

He has an uncle who basically raised him, since his mother died when he was at a young age. He did teach me a few cleaning hacks within our first month of being together. Hange would always tease us.

I knew how to get back at her though. Her and Moblit recently got together, about 3 weeks ago to be exact. Any time I would bring up their little love story she would immediately change the topic to one of her experiments.

It's a Monday morning now, I'm in class with my first years that I have come to love. I've really taken a liking to Armin and Mikasa, with them being my student assistants. I found out that Mikasa is Levi's cousin. Jean Kirchstein is another one that I find amusing. He tries to flirt with me almost every class period. Mikasa shoots him a glare, warning him of that I'm taken by her cousin.

"Okay, the time has come. It's time for the group project. I will pair you up. The topic is going to be of your choice, but it has to be about something in the history of the world. You are to explain the event. Then, you must explain how you would have acted or what you would have done. I've decided you can just do a slideshow presentation for this. The group will have to present this to the class. Be prepared to answer questions afterwards. I know this is an English and writing class, but I feel like this will help you with your research skills to help improve writing of nonfiction. Do you have any questions?" I explain and ask the class.

No response.

"Okay I will now name out the groups:

Mikasa and Eren

Annie and Armin

Ymir and Christa

Marco and Jean

Connie and Sasha

Berthold and Reiner

These are the groups I have chosen. Feel free to ask me for any help. If you want me to give you a topic I do have ideas. Also, feel free to use the library, other professors, and other resources for your research. I will give y'all 2 weeks. With that said, today's assignment is going to be writing poems. I want you to get into groups of 4. Each group will give me 2 poems." I explain the lesson.

Everyone starts to move.

Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and Annie.

Jean, Marco, Sasha, and Connie.

Ymir, Christa, Reiner, and Berthold.

They all write their poems as I walk around helping out. All of the groups came up with some unique poems.

Eren's group revolved theirs around freedom. Jean's group around happiness. Christa's group around love.

To say I was proud was an understatement. This group has grown so much and improved on their writing and teamwork.

I decided I would reward them. I brought rice crispy treats from my house just for the occasion.

"Alright everyone, time for catch." I say as I start tossing the snacks to the students. As I'm about to throw Connie his, Sasha jumps and snatched it. I chuckle.

"Sasha, give it back!" Connie says pouncing the brunette.

Sasha shoves both her and his into her mouth. Connie pouts as a result. I walk up to Connie and give him one.

"Thanks, Professor." He says hiding the treat away from Sasha.

"You all have a few minutes before the period is over. I believe they got club events going on today. So there is no classes after this. If you want to stay to hang out here y'all can if not you're free to go." I say looking at the group with a small smile.

Armin speaks up, "Actually, Professor, we were all wondering if we could get a picture together as a group. We really love your class."

Eren chimes in, "To me you're like a second mother, sometimes even a part of the friend group."

I smile with tears in my eyes. "You are the first class to ever ask me that. Sure thing."

A couple knocks at the door echo through the room. Everyone's attention shoots towards the door. I walk towards the door to be greeted by my boyfriend. I look down at him slightly since I'm wearing high heel boots today.

"Hello, captain." The class say with a salute. I chuckle.

"Hey, there brats." He tells them with his usual face expression.

"Well since he's here maybe we can get him to take the picture." I say giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Hmm." He hums, raising his eye brows. I give him my phone, as the class gathers around for a picture.

"You should be in the middle, Professor (l/n)." Reiner says.

With all the adjustments, taller people being in back and shorter being in front slightly crouched, the picture can be taken. The first one is just a regular one us all smiling, then we get another of us doing faces and crazy poses.

Before everyone leaves, Berthold asks, "Captain if you want, we could get a picture with you as the teacher as well. You are pretty good at teaching. Though we don't really see you the same as Professor (y/n). Then we could get one with both of you as our professors."

Levi speaks, "Tsk. I suppose we could, but what's that supposed to mean Hoover?"

Berthold rubs the back of his neck nervously, "Nothing sir. We all enjoy you."

You saved yourself, Berthold.

After all the adjustments, I position my phone to stand and put a time once everyone is in position. I run to the one end while Levi is on the other. We then get another with Levi and I in the middle together.

"Alright, I'll email everyone the photos. If you want me to have it developed for you just give me the size you want as a reply to the email. You are all free to go now." I say putting my phone in my pocket.

Everyone takes their leave, except Levi. I lean against the front of my desk as he comes to do the same beside me.

"You know it was kind of a dick move to wear those boots today." Levi says.

I chuckle as I rub the back of my neck, "Sorry, hun. I wasn't expecting you to show up in my class today."

He smiles, "It's fine. I can't stay mad at you. I came to ask, though, do you want to come have dinner at my place tonight? Kenny will be there with his wife."

I think, this would be my first time meeting Kenny in person. I knew Levi wasn't too fond of him, but he was family and he raised him. "Sure. What were you planning on cooking? If you want me to, I can help you cook it. I'll just arrive a little early." I says

"That's up to you. I was planning to do steak and baked potatoes. You are good with desserts, so maybe you could help with that." He tells me as he rubs hand sanitizer on his hands.

"Okay, I have the perfect dessert in mind. How about a red velvet cheesecake?" I ask.

"Sounds nice. See you at 6?" Levi asks.

"Yep." I say.

We lean in and have a short but passionate kiss. Oh how I love you mister Ackermann.
