Chapter 2

After teaching the rest of my classes Hange paid me a visit in my office. I heard 3 knocks upon my door. "You may enter." I called out. I look up from my computer screen, "Oh, Hi. What brings you here, Hange?" I continue to type away, figuring up my lesson plan for the next few weeks.

"Nothing, I just figured I would try to make a couple of new friends. You know, since I'm new to the campus and all. Levi, Moblit, and Erwin are great. Oh, Miche also. He's a character you will enjoy meeting." she talks. I chuckle, "Why do you say that?" She looks towards me examining my interest, "He's got this deal with smells. He has an inhuman sense of smell." she explains.

"Hmm, that is quite interesting. How are things going with your classes?" I ask her, finishing up the last bit of typing I needed to.

"They're great. The first years with Eren Jaeger are quite the bunch. They are so full of energy, I like that in a group of students." The brunette scientist tells.

"Oh, yeah. They are quite the group. I wonder if any are going to try to apply to be a professor's assistant."

"Sasha signed up to help me. Connie signed up to help Moblit. Jean and Eren both signed up to help Levi. Marco and Reiner signed under Erwin." She tells me of all the students decisions.

"Seems like the first years like you four already." I hear two knocks on my office door. "You can enter." I call out.

In walks Armin and Mikasa. "What can I help you two with today?" I ask.

Armin speaks up, "Well, we were informed that we could sign up to be professor assistants. I think it would help with deciding what I want to be in life. I was wondering if Mikasa and I could sign up under you?"

I smile towards the two, "Sure. Let me print the paper work for you." I open a folder on my computer, clicking the document for student professor assistant sign up. After I put in that I need two copies, I let them print. After getting them printed I give Armin and Mikasa each a copy, and they take their leave.

"Well, there are my assistants I guess. They seem like great kids." I say as I sit back down behind my desk. Hange then speaks up, "So, I was wondering if you would like to get a coffee, whenever you are finished?"

"Sure." I pack my things then walk out of the office with Hange. As we are walking down the stairs, at the bottom we see two familiar figures.

"Those brats. Especially, Kirschtein and Jaeger, they really are a rowdy bunch." Levi says to the taller blonde.

"Well, Levi, they are just young adults. I for one actually enjoy their presence in my classroom." Erwin then turns his head towards Hange and I walking down the stairs. Levi glances at me for a second then quickly looks away.

"Erwin, Levi, would you like to come with (y/n) and I to get a coffee?" Hange asks them. Levi just replies with "Tsk, fine." Erwin nods. Two more additions to the coffee meet up.

As we enter the cafe, we head towards a booth in the back. Erwin slides all the way to the wall on one side as Levi does the same on the opposite side. Hange then sits next to Erwin leaving me to sit next to the stoic man. I slide in next to him, our thighs touching for a quick moment.

We tell the waiter our order. Hange says, "I'll take a mocha cookie crumble frapp." Erwin then speaks, "I'll take a hot pistachio latte." Levi then says that he wants, "Hot black tea." I then say my order, "A iced white chocolate mocha." the waiter takes the order then heads to make them.

"What with women and getting dessert for a beverage?" Levi says, taking out his phone. "Hey, shorty. Not everyone is as bitter as you like to be." Hange tells her obvious best friend.
