Chapter 15

What could have made me sick two days in a row? I was really only sick in the mornings. Here I was for the third day with my face basically in the toilet. Levi had gone every morning the past couple of days. He's been helping Ruby and Kenny with painting their home.

"I really hope I'm not going to be sick for the Christmas party with the students in a couple of days." I say to myself, as I stand up. I wipe my mouth with my hand, then walk in front of the bathroom mirror. I look at my wild bed head hair along with my tired looking face.

I look at the bathroom counter, it was covered in many things. I take notice to my pads/tampons. Then, I realized. "Oh my gosh. I haven't had my period this month yet. I've got to text the girls. They'll know what to do."

I jog back into the bedroom, grabbing my phone off the nightstand. I open it up to see a message from Levi. I decided to open his first.

Levi: You were asleep when I left. I'm sorry about being gone every morning. I should be back around 2 today, though. You emailed the students right.

I begin to text him back.

Me: Yeah, they all got their required item to bring. They all said they would be able to bring their items. We'll just have to set the room up. Also it's fine. Did you let them know I was okay with letting them visit for Christmas?

He responds back,

Levi: Yeah. Ruby is excited. I have to get back to painting now, or it won't be done quick enough. I love you, see you later.

Me: Okay, I love you too.

I close our messages then go to the group chat between the girls and I.

Me: Ladies, I have a situation. Are y'all free to meet in about 30 minutes? Could you all come here if y'all can?

Hange: I'm free. Seen you in a bit.

Petra: On my way.

Paige: Yeah, girl. Be there soon.

*** small timeskip***

"Okay, so you've missed your period and you've been feeling sick in the mornings?" Paige asks

I nod. Hange was sitting in Levi's chair, Petra, Paige and I were on the sofa.

The girls all look at each other. Petra speaks up, "The last time you and Levi did the deed, did you use any type of protection?"

"No..." I say with hesitation.

"(Y/n), you may be pregnant. We need to get you a test to find out." Hange explains to me.

Shit. I didn't expect this to happen so early in the relationship. What would Levi think? How am I going to tell him?

"Okay." I sigh out. I stand up as the rest of the group does the same. I walk towards the hallway table, grabbing my wallet and keys. Once we all are ready we head to the parking lot.

We all pile into Hange's car. I get into the back with Petra, while Paige sits in the passenger seat. She starts up the car then pulls onto the road.

We pass by the many homes and apartments on our way to Walmart. It was the closest store, and plus I could get multiple tests for cheaper.

I look at the many different options.

"I think you should get the one with 2 tests. You can never be too sure." Hange states picking up the box with two tests. She hands it to me to examine.

I look at the box reading on how people rate it. It's only  ten dollars, so I guess I should just get it. "Okay, I'll get this one. Do y'all want to get something to eat?" I ask.
