Chapter 9

"Good morning class." I say walking into the classroom of the first years. They all mutter good mornings.

"I have the photos. You all wanted the pictures. So I'll let y'all have the packet and pass it around." I hand Eren the pack in which the photos were in. As they pass them around I pull up today's lesson on the computer.

"So, have y'all picked out y'all's topics yet? I know you still have a little time. Maybe at the end of class we'll have time for you to talk to your partners." I say clicking on the document todays lesson was going to be on.

Annie and Armin mention they wanted to do their project on the Titanic. (A/N: Btw I am all for anything about the titanic)

Jean and Marco decided to do their project on the history of policing.

Ymir and Historia decided to do theirs on Shakespeare. Mostly because of the romance stories.

Eren and Mikasa decide to do their project on the rights of women over the years.

Bert and Reiner decide to do theirs on the story of Edgar Allen Poe.

Sasha and Connie decided on the importance of education in today's world. (Random, I know.)

"That sounds like some interesting subjects. I can't wait to see what you all come up with." I smile towards them.

We continue on with class. The class goes pretty smoothly. Reiner speaks up, "So professor, are we going to have to call you professor Ackermann next semester as well."

I widen my eyes, and my cheeks flush red, "I don't know about that. I mean...." Everyone does their awes.

"Okay, okay. Y'all finish the work the you're free to go." I manage to get out. I chuckle as they sigh and go back to work.

Only about a month and a half left until they are basically through with my course. "Oh, I tell you what you 12 have grown on me." I say clearing off my desk as they pack their things as well.

They all smile, "You have on us also, Professor (y/l/n)."

They leave to their next course while I get ready for the next group.

*Time skip*

I come home, and go straight to my kitchen. One look in the fridge tells me I need to go shopping. Luckily, I had a soda and cheese stick. "Guess I got to make due with this. I come home to feed Mocha and Merlyn every day. Levi and I only stayed here a couple of nights. I've been staying with him more often. I need to clean up and dust around here."

I finish my snack. Mocha is at my feet while I get him fresh food and water. After doing his food and water I get around to Merlyn's.

Without putting my thought into it, I start to clean my home. I scrub every floor, counter, the stovetop, and everything that can be scrubbed. I wash every dish, dust every shelf. Before I know it I'm done with cleaning. It's about 6:30 now.

"I guess I could make a grocery list." I say to myself. Grabbing a pen and paper, I check my refrigerator and pantry. I basically need a good bit:

Milk
Water
Sodas
Tea
Chicken
Beef
Pork
Rice
Potatoes
Apples
Bananas
Grapes
Chips
Cookies
Sugar
Flour

I give Merlyn and Mocha each a pat on the head, before leaving out my front door.

I make my way to my car. I get in putting my seatbelt on then starting her up. I decide I will listen to some (favorite artist).

Making the quick drive to the nearest grocery store, I pull into the parking lot. There weren't many people here surprisingly.

I dreaded shopping most of the time. Today was not going to be any different. I walk into the store and grab a cart.

*small timeskip*

After about an hour of shopping, I made my way back home.

After I finish putting groceries up, I go to sit on the couch in the living room. I shut my eyes for a second. I go into deep thought, then I think about something...

"Oh my gosh! Fuck! I told Levi I would go spend the night at his place. He's probably home now like what the? Where is she?" I exclaim

I pull my phone out of my pocket, pressing his contact.

The phone rings three time before I hear the other in pick up.

"Hello." Levi says.

"Hi, I am so sorry. I got caught up with some things and I totally forgot you wanted me to spend another night." I explain with a sigh.

"Oh, it's okay. I can just come to your place. I was going to ask if you would like some Chinese food." He tells me his plan.

"Sure and okay. Do you want me to rent a movie?" I ask him, waiting for his answer.

"Why not?" He says.

"Okay, I'll see you when you get here. Be careful. Bye. I love you." I tell him.

"Yeah, love you too." He then hangs up.

I let out a breath of relief. "I'm so glad he wasn't mad."

I grab the television remote, turning on the television. I scroll through movies to rent. I decide we could watch a series. The Percy Jackson series should be okay for us to watch.

After about and hour, Levi walks into the house. Not only does he have the food, he also has a kennel. I'm the small kennel is no other than his cat, Stella.

He walks into the kitchen with me following. He sets the food on the counter, then sets Stella's kennel down.

"I brought Stella if you didn't mind. I got her food and things in my car." Levi says opening the kennel.

"Oh, it's fine. I'm sure Merlyn would love to have a cat friend." I say.

Stella slowly steps out, observing the new environment. She looks around, then notices me. She walks over to me, meowing.

I chuckle, "Hey, there girl." I crouch down to pet her. As if it was his cue, Merlyn walks into the kitchen to investigate. Mocha isn't far behind.

They both stop in their tracks, noticing the tabby female. Mocha runs up to her, sniffing her. Merlyn slowly walks towards her, once he sniffs her, he rubs his body against hers.

"I guess they're okay with each other." I say.

Levi kisses my cheek. "What movie did you decide on, sweetheart?"

"The Percy Jackson series if that's okay with you." I tell him the line up of movies.

We grab our food, going into the living room to watch the movie.

We eat and watch the movies. We both talk about our day. Then, Levi asks, "What would you think of living together?"

I look at him with surprise, "I haven't actually thought about it."

"Well, I was thinking of maybe getting a small place for us for now. I have some money saved up, plus I hadn't used the money my mom left for me when she passed." Levi explains.

"Well, we should look into places first. We'll have to take some time and think also. I'm not saying it's a bad idea. I'm convinced that we won't be splitting up any time soon." I tell him as I sip on my water.

"Oh, yeah?" He wraps his arm around my shoulder, pulling me closer to him.

With nothing else being said we finish the first two movies, then head to bed. Of course, he wanted at least some cuddles before going to sleep.

We fell asleep facing each other arms wrapped around each other.
