Chapter 3

The week went on, all the students got through with introductions. Armin and Mikasa helped a lot. In fact they were at my office now. "Today is finally Friday. You guys can go on home. I got to leave a little early any way." I say gathering up my things.

"Thank you." Mikasa says walking out. "Thank you, Professor (y/l/n), for letting us help you. I actually enjoy helping you with grades and running errands. Mikasa is a big help too." Armin smiles leaving to catch up with his friend.

Once I'm finished I walk out to my car. I check the time 3:30 pm. I text Levi:

Me: you can always come over a little early if you want. I'm gonna clean up a bit. Oh also you don't mind animals do you?

Levi: Okay, and no I have a cat. Why do you ask?

Me: I have a corgi and a cat. The corgi is named Mocha. The cat is named Merlyn.

Levi: Oh okay. It's fine they won't bother me. Do you mind me asking what you planned on cooking tonight?

Me: Do you like Mexican dishes?

Levi: Yeah

Me: I was planning on doing some chicken enchiladas. It's a recipe an old friend of mine showed me.

Levi: Alright. Well I'll see you when I get there I got to go home to wash up first.

Me: Okay

I put my phone away and drive towards home. As soon as I open the door I'm greeted by Mocha jumping in excitement.

"Hey, boy. We are gonna have a friend of mine over today. You gonna greet him nicely?" I ask as I bend down to pet him. I look up to see Merlyn sleeping on his cat tree. He sure loves to sleep.

Levi POV

I wrap a towel around my waist as I walk out of my bathroom. "What should I wear?" The wind is kind of wild today. I pull out some dark jeans and then a black long sleeve button up shirt. I put those on the bed as I go towards my dresser to get some underwear and socks. I dry myself then get dressed.

Once I'm dressed, I go to my kitchen. I get greeted by Stella. She's a tabby dark gray cat. She's so kind and loves affection. She's rubbing herself against my legs walking around in circles. "What is it girl?" She meows and walks over to her bowl.

I chuckle, "Guess you're hungry." I open the pantry to get her food. I feed her and water her. After that I leave my apartment.

Normal POV

Just as I put the enchiladas in the oven. I hear a knock. Mocha and Merlyn both look towards the door. I walk over and open the door. On the other side stands the shorty.

"Hi, come on in." I say as I move to the side. He walks in and Mocha immediately gets off his dog bed to come sniff the stranger to him.

"Tsk, this must be the dog you were talking about. Mocha." He says as he kneels down to pet the fluffy dog.

"Yeah, Merlyn is over there." I point towards the cat tree.

Merlyn looks at Levi with big green eyes.

"A black cat. Interesting. Not many people like to keep them as pets." Levi comments going over to the cat tree. He pets Merlyn.

"Yeah, well Merlyn is the sweetest kitty. He sleeps most of the time. I don't believe in black cats bringing bad luck." I explain.

Levi looks around the living room. "Hmm." He says as he swipes his hand across my bookshelf. He rubs his fingers together like he's examining if there's any dust on them. There's not though because dust irritates me. So that means my home is near about always dust free. Especially now, since I have a visitor. First impressions are everything.

"Uhm, I just put the food in the oven before you walked in. So it will take a little bit. Would you like something to drink? I can make some tea." You say twiddling your thumbs trying to make conversation. This is the first time you were alone with just him.

"Tea is fine. I can wait for the food. There's no need to rush. I see you clean considerably well." He says walking up next to me.

We walk into the kitchen. He immediately smells the food. "That smells great." He sits down at the kitchen island.

"Thanks." I say preparing some tea. Luckily, I made some before he arrived. I already knew he liked tea because of the other day.

I slide him a cup. Then bring the kettle over to fill his  cup. I fill a cup for me too.

Before I can even point out the sugar that's next to him he picks his cup up from the top and not the handle he drinks the liquid.

"Well, I was going to tell you that there was some sugar next to you." I say with a laugh.

He looks up from his cup, "It's fine I prefer it like this. Did you want some for yours?" He says as he pulls my cup over.

I nod. He takes the hint and puts a teaspoon of sugar in my cup stirring. Once finished I sit next to him sipping my beverage.

"That's an odd way to hold a teacup," he glances over to me. "Oh, not that it's a bad thing. It's just unique." He gives a small small before speaking.

"A lot of people take notice to that about me."

I sigh. "So, Levi. What do you like to do in your free time?" I ask.

"I like to clean. I also read some times. What about you?" He asks looking you in the eyes.

"Well, I clean also. I also like to read and write. I try to paint. I also like to watch scary movies." I explain.

He hums in response. The oven beeps signaling that the food was done. I walk towards the oven removing the dish, setting it on the stovetop. Levi gets up, walking up behind you.

"I can get the plates." He says observing what he's about to eat.

"Oh, they're over there." I point to the cabinet above the sink. While he gets the plates I get utensils.

We eat, then go to the living room. He sits on the sofa.

"Want to watch a movie? You can choose." I ask him throwing him the remote.

"You sure?" He says. "Yeah." I say with a smile.

He just turns on Supernatural. We watch a couple of episodes. I ended up laying on his lap. Next thing I know I'm asleep.

Levi POV

I hear her lightly start to snore. I look down to her gentle features. She looks so peaceful. I pick her up bridal style, carrying her to what I believe to be her room. I gently set her down. She groans as I pull her covers on her.

"Thanks for coming over." She says sleepily.

I look at the time on her clock. 12:30 am.

"Anytime. Get some rest." I leave her to head home.

She's so beautiful. Tonight was nice. I know four eyes is gonna want to know how it went, but for tonight, I wanted to get home and get some sleep. (Y/n) actually made my day great. I can maybe even sleep better.

A/N: So this is just really a filler chapter in a way. Once again kind of rushed. I hope you all kind of like it. I will probably edit any mistakes soon.

Also I kinda wanted to give a reason why I chose to name the animals those names. Mocha is just random really. Merlyn was the name of my black cat. He was just like how I described him in this chapter a sweet but sleepy cat. Stella was another cat of mine she was the sweet type too.
