"She's perfect," I say in amazement as I look at my daughter.
"Just like someone else I know," Rowan tells me.
I roll my eyes.
"What should we name her?" I ask.
"Ember?" Rowan suggests.
"I like it and for her middle name how about Elena?" I say.
"Perfect!" Rowan says.
"Wanna hold her?" I ask Rowan.
"Yes!" He says; happily.
He takes Ember from my arms.
Just then everyone walks in.
"So I hope all the screaming wasn't about someone getting murdered," Aedion says and looks at me with a smirk.
I roll my eyes playfully.
"Shut up, Aedion!" I say.
Everyone laughs.
"Where is she?" Lysandra asks; eagerly.
I point to Rowan holding our daughter.
Lysandra walks over to Rowan and admires Ember in Rowan's arms.
"So have the two of you came up with a name yet?" Elide asks.
I nod.
"Everyone meet Princess Ember Elena Whitethorn-Galathynius," I announce to them.
They all bow to her.
"Guys you know the bows arent necessary right?" I ask them.
"Of course they are necessary she is a princess," Fenrys says.
I roll my eyes again.
"You're right she is a princess," Rowan says.
Lysandra looks eager to hold her.
"If you want to hold her, Lysandra...you can," I tell my best friend.
"I don't think Rowan wants to hand her over to anyone," Lysandra says.
Rowan growls.
"My point proven!" Lysandra says.
We all laugh again.
"Rowan just let Lysandra hold her," I tell him.
He growls again but reluctantly hands Ember to Lysandra.
"Looks like Rowan is already being extremely protective," Gavriel says.
I laugh a little.
Rowan glares at Gavriel.
I lay a hand on my mates arm.
After a while of Lysandra holding Ember she hands her to Aedion who was also itching to hold her.
Everyone takes turns holding her.
When Fenrys holds her he looks reluctant at first but then relaxes after a minute.
When Fenrys looks at her I notice something different in his eyes and I think Rowan does too because he lets out a very silent growl that only I hear.
I slap him in the arm.
Fenrys looks deeply into Embers eyes and I realize exactly what he realizes.
